Perfect for Echo Hub
The version for the echo hub works well with the echo hub… shocker. This device has a strange design but it’s intended to fit in an electrical box so the design makes sense. It’s powering and supplying a wired data connection to my echo hub without issue. I like that it has two USB-C ports, Might be able to power more than one device. Only one of the USB-C ports passes data and power, the other is power only. I did try powering a few other items including my iPhone with this to see what its compatibility is. It did charge and provide data to my phone but it got a little warm. Also the listing does say this is supposed to provide 1000mbps, it’s only 100mbps. Not a problem for the echo hub, 100mbps is more than enough.Installation was too bad. Was kind of nervous about cutting a large hole in the wall but once I got over that and got the Ethernet ran trough the attic and down the wall cavity, install was a breeze. I just connected the Ethernet and USB-C cables and tucked this converter into the wall. My Echo Hub powered up and works perfectly. It’s nice having a wired data connection for the echo hub. I prefer wired where I can get a wire.

Works initially
This was perfect for my application to power a phone and tablet. Worked great for a couple of weeks. Then died. Support is exchanging under their 1 yr warranty. We'll see how replacement works.

POE for echo that works!
Plug and play into double gang box and Echo hub that worked immediately. The deep style box helped too.Would be great if they were extra clear it works with Echo as several other brands failed before I got this one online

Fits in the wall and powers an Echo hub
This is a great solution that works perfectly and fits in a single gang box easily. Fantastic design.Finding an in wall power solution for the Echo Hub is tricky and the ones that get promoted are too big to fit in a standard space.Great solution!
