Savinelli Arcobaleno Green 606 KS - Colorful Hand Crafted Wood Pipes, Handmade Briar Pipe From Italy, 6mm, Bent Billiard

While pipes are often preference driven, I find it hard to imagine anyone not liking this Savinelli. It's a beautiful pipe. The pictures do it justice! I've used it for a couple months now, traveling and at home, and have had no issues with wear on the color. I've had other pipes where the coloring inside the bowl comes off during the first few smokes, but I haven't found that to be the case with this one. The balsa wood insert seems to do well, too. It helps keep it a dry smoke without compromising the draw.PROS- Beautiful design. It looks wonderful on a mantle or in your hands!-Well made. So far, it's been a durable pipe that had lost none of its beauty.-The balsa wood insert. Keeps the smoke dry. This pipe comes with three inserts, but savinelli, and off brands, do sell large packages of them. There are cheap ones out there if you look hard enough.CONS- Price. It's an expensive pipe. You're paying for the name. That being said, you get a good pipe with the name. If you're in the market for a good pipe, I highly recommend this one!

The balsa wood filter makes for flavorful dry smoke. No gurgling, wet draws or tongue bite. Feels good in the hand and the mouthpiece is very comfortable. Beautiful craftsmanship, great smoking experience.My pipe came with the adapter to smoke filterless, but only had one balsa filter. I recommend buying a pack of the balsa filters with this pipe.

Savinelli pipes are a quality pipe which smoke very well. The green started to fade immediately, and I did not want that kind of character. I would have been happier with a pecan or mahogany colored pipe. It is my Sunday pipe because of the quality.

Bought for my husband and he loves it. Beautiful green bowl and a black stem-very good quality.

Unlike the person that said the color fades, unlike her Petersons....I think she is confused. The Savinelli color does not fade, unlike the Peterson, which rubs off and turns black... This 606 is Beautiful. The bore was perfect, the air channel was centered, and perfect with the bottom of the bore. Easy draw, and a dry cool smoke. As always Savinelli offers an outstanding product, at a Great price......

I am so disappointed in this pipe. It started off great, the color was originally beautiful but after smoking it once the color on the right side of the pipe would start to fade and the finish would gray out, I tried it another time and now the whole pipe has this ugly gray dull effect. It smoked fine but to add further insult to injury the stem also became loose in the past couple days. I would not recommend this pipe.

This is my review after one year. Purchased 8/28/23The color was gone after 1 week of smoking. The pipe itself burns great the finish isn’t great
