Small, compact, and user friendly
I have been using this product for a while now and have had absolutely no issues so far. The camera is very small, so it easy to hide behind your rear view mirror and forget that it's even there. They provide two wires of different lengths, I opted for the longer one which I hid around the trim of my car. This was a bit fiddly to do but I imagine you have to do this for all dashcam products. Once set up though, the wire is well concealed.Being able to access your videos from a mobile phone app is great, all you do is connect to the dashcam via the app and all your journeys and saved clips are there. You can download them straight to your phone wirelessly. The app does feel a bit clunky to use at times, but it gets the job done which is all that matters. You can save clips by clicking a button on the dashcam, or using voice commands. The voice commands are very responsive and work well - I prefer to use these for hands-free clip saving. If you get in an incident and forget to save a clip - don't worry as all the footage from the journey can still be accessed from the app.The videos are good quality (video and audio) and for me the timestamps on them have been accurate whenever I have saved clips. The price is reaaonable (I paid £120 in total as I needed a microSD card) and I would say it's worth the money.Overall, I'd recommend.

Works perfectly
I looked at all the Garmin dashcams (and others) but chose this one. Why? It is very small for a start and fits perfectly behind the rearview mirror. Picture quality is very good and I have not had the issues others mention connecting to my Samsung S22. It has no screen but why would I need one? Also, looking at the other dashcams in the range, if I ever need features such as something to tell me when the car ahead has moved off I will cut my driving licence up! This dashcam is simple, effective and does the job I bought it for without any silly gimmicks.

Wow what a small little package
So if you want a discreet dashcam then look no further than this little thing. First of all it is so so tiny. Admittedly I bought a new suction mount for it, but if you use the one you get then this camera will be hardly seen at all. The only 2 disappointing parts is the app and connecting to wifi. It isn't terrible, but the wifi connection can be a little hit and miss. Plus, the time it takes to upload videos to the vault and download videos is a bit of a nuisance. However, you can use mobile screen recorder apps to improve the process on capturing your footage and you can always pop out your SD card and plug it into a PC if needed. As for the wifi if you park your car away from your house and wifi isn't great in your car then you will struggle to access the camera and your videos. If you park in a good area of wifi then it will be grand, you may have to exit the app and try again sort of thing, but it will work.3 things to note. The camera doesn't have a screen that's what your mobile is for. You can access a live feed of the camera at your home to make sure it is set in the best place and that leads me onto another point you may be able to access a live feed if you have internet in your car. I don't think you'd be able to watch live driving if your not in the car as the connection is mainly through Bluetooth, but perhaps that's the future. Last point to access the videos/camera without turning your car on, wasting battery and petrol then just use a mobile external battery via the USB lead. All in all I am very happy with this product. I've had Garmin gadgets for years and thought why not give this one a go and to be honest I'm glad I did.

Small compact and out of the way.
I was looking for a new dashcam and I wasn’t interested in getting one with a screen as I would have found it distracting while driving. This offered good performance and a wide enough field of view for me. I’ve mounted mine out of view behind the rear view mirror so it’s not in my view while driving but I can easily duck slightly to see the led to make sure it’s recording. The app is really easy to use and makes retrieving footage really simple. It has a feature to link two garmin dash cams together so you can have a front and rear view which I’ll definitely be looking to get in the future. It is a bit more expensive than other options but I’ve been very happy with how easy it’s been to use and it’s been worth it for me.

A little gem.💎
Some reviews just shout out, that the reviewer should have read the manual. This is a brilliant bit of kit. Setup was simple enough although some connections to my phone were suspect. Image is brilliant. Remember SD to watch on a phone but HD once it’s downloaded to a computer. Simples! 😜
