Looks great, is very sturdy, well constructed, simple to put up
The media could not be loaded. Only arrived yesterday so not had chance to use. Its a solid piece of kit, very easy to put up, literally 20 seconds. It looks like it will last for many years and I hope it comes on many a camping trip with me.

Weight issues claims 1.5kg truth 2.635kg
Apart from the weight issue it looks very good, but not a backpacking bbq at very nearly 3kg but definitely has its place in the market good price too

Body bends with the heat and challenging to clean but effective for the basics
Overall this is a very capable little BBQ that I have initially used to cook some steaks with. When folded, this portable BBQ measures 36cm x 26cm x 4.5cm thick. Once unfolded, it sits 20cm off the ground. It’s not made of the thickest metal and consequently has started to bend, even after 1 use whilst the coating seems to have burnt off the hottest area. I’m not convinced this is built to last, it hopefully I will manage a fair few BBQ’s before it will need disposing.I’ve used this with lump wood charcoal and managed to cook simple items - eg sirloin steaks. It comes supplied with 2 stainless steel grills, one with a handle that folds in too, whilst it also has a smaller one that supposed to sit directly on top of the charcoal (i don’t use this one). The steaks sit on the stainless steel grill (with foldable handle) which give a cooking area of 35cm x 21cm.The small bag of lump wood charcoal weighed 500g and easily filled that base of the BBQ. I could have comfortably added another ½ or 1kg of charcoal.Once erected, the BBQ felt solid enough. It had no concerns about it collapsing. The only thing that did worry me was the holes at either end or rather that charcoal could fall out of those holes if I had put more charcoal in.Once finished with and cooled down, it was a little challenging to remove remaining charcoal as they remain lodged in the small area at the base of the V and I had to use a skewer to push out charcoal that didn’t come out when I turned the BBQ upside down !!Post use, it was fairly easy to refold and because it folds up like a notebook, it’s easy to store, taking up hardly any space whatsoever. That said, if it continues to bend with heat, I will not be able to fold it back into notebook style.Overall, I found this to be a very capable little BBQ that I have initially used to cook some steaks with. I suspect this will also prove good with sausages and burgers. I question whether this BBQ is built to last, but perhaps the answer to that should be obvious considering it’s selling at under £30.

A great grill to use when camping or travelling.
It’s really slim, lightweight, and portable. It would almost anywhere including a backpack easily and wouldn’t be too much of a hassle to carry on a hike.It isn’t the sturdiest when not used on a solid flat surface, but still robust enough to handle a BBQ session without tipping over or collapsing. The grilling capacity is excellent! The grill does get quite hot as well, so be careful when using or trying to “readjust” its position when the charcoal is burning. It doesn’t seem to control heat very well either - the upper “V” seems to be gradually deteriorating after each BBQ use. I’ve managed five barbecues out of it so far, but I think I might just manage to get five more down as well, so it depends on how often it will be used.Much easier to clean when using big charcoal pieces. Small ones end up collecting at the bottom of the “V” and getting stuck there. It certainly won’t replace a bigger BBQ grill, but it’s a great affordable option to use on the go. Would be happy to recommend. If this review helped, please click on the ‘helpful’ button to let others know! Thanks ツ

Sturdy but not the easiest to clean
This foldable BBQ is great for 2 - 4 people events. The grill area can take about 4 steaks or 6 burgers. Once it is standing it is very sturdy. The BBQ is made of sheet metal that warps a bit with the heat but not affecting its performance. The charcoal is loaded on top of a smaller grill below. All the fines at the end will dropped to the bottom of the V shape making it quite difficult to empty and clean. You will have to fine a large bag to cover it and turn the whole thing upside down to empty all the fines. It folds back to its original shape after use and pack away neatly.Overall, this is good for moderate use and it is a good size for camping or caravan holiday. The weight is not as lightweight as I thought so not good if you had to walk carrying this in your backpack.
