Great value and product!
I got these light for my husband for Christmas and he LOVES them! They were pretty simple to install and the individual strips makes it so much easier! The are well made with 3M stickies so they are very secure. Pairing with his phone was a breeze and he’s still enjoying all the features!! Great buy!! Thanks Santa!

Nice Lights - Reset Issue / Warranty Honored
This is for the 8 piece segmented backlights fitting 45-75 inch TVs.The lights are bright and colorful. The app is intuitive. Pairing was easy. They integrate with Alexa. These are often on sale.Don't forget to save the reset pin that comes with your kit. (pic) If your home network changes you'll need to have the reset pin, or a straightened paperclip, to reconnect.I deducted one star because after buying a new router I could not reconnect to my home network. No matter which Sengled instructions I followed my backlights would not reset / enter pairing mode. I was ready to rate these at 1 star. But I contacted Sengled warranty support and found the company to be very responsive. I had to verify my purchase and answer a few tech questions but they swiftly made things right. It's genuinely a pleasure when you find a company that stands behind their product. I consider the issue I had to be a rare one and would gladly buy these again. Thank you, Sengled.

If you can easily remove the TV, do so
My 65" TV is mounted above a fireplace (it is high enough and far enough back the heat and debris will not affect it). I also do not have many things plugged into it, so taking it off the wall would have made installation 100% easier. Otherwise, the installation process is pretty straightforward. Clean the back of the TV with a little alcohol (included in the kit), stick on the hooks (optional, also included), peel the double sided tape from the LEDs and stick to the TV.The whole process took me 15 minutes because of the awkward placement and my reach. It was also freezing that day so, of course, the fireplace was cooking. The fit for my 65" TV was spot on. There glow from these is perfectly matched to the perimeter of the TV, leaving no dead coverage. My only major criticism is the shotty color of the whites. I know these are only RGB (not RGBW) so I should not expect 100% whites, however I do expect somewhere along the lines of 90%.If you are looking for LEDs with a high CRI, look elsewhere. If you are looking for something inexpensive and easy, go ahead and pick this up.

Upgrade your TV with LED lights
Lights are very interesting addition to TV.LED strips are made of several pieces in various sizes. Idea is to allow these to be attached and fit your TV. Strips have two types of connectors, one on each end. One with pins exposed and one with holes. You connect pines with holes to hook them up.Pins are delicate and I had to use my reading glasses to make sure that I don't damage them. There is a main unit that acts as receiver for wifi and power and strips connect to that. Each strip is backed by a 3m adhesive tape which is great. It took us some effort to attach to TV as I have TV placed in a corner and hard to move it.Also I was afraid to bend strip too much, around corner of TV. As long as you are careful with sticking it to surface, you should be okay.As a product idea may be there needs to be corner pieces as connectors. If you have to bend strip, I would suggest to do that using smaller pieces of strip for bending.Strips are about 2mm thick. When they are lit they are barely visible. When they are unlit you could see them. I wish they came in black to blend it into TV body.Pairing was quick. Unlike hub, these pair directly to wifi. It is interesting to see a non zigbee product from Sengled in this scenario. Good thing is you can still use your sengled app to control it as well have these paired via sengled to Alexa or Google.Sengled needs to identify if these can be paired directly to a 3rd party hub without using their app.Overall intesting purchase. Could be great for a date night. One last note, when these are lit, all lights do get same color.

Under Cabinet Lighting
Well I know these are made for a television but I actually used them in my kitchen under the cabinets. I had originally bought LED light strips on a roll from Sengled but they didn't work out due to the layout of my cabinets and for the fact that I didn't want to cut notches under my cabinets. These modular strips worked perfectly! I ended up buying two so that I could just easily plug them in without them being seen on each side. Sengled's app is great because you can group them together and control the whole room or individuals. Very easy to use and set up. Honestly, the hardest part about installation was probably just trying to pull the brown paper off the sticky part.I was worried at first because the description said no white but they do a few variations of white that I find acceptable. It's not a true white as it's RGB but it works and I'm particularly fond of the cool white.
