I've been reading a lot lately about the importance of the gut for weight loss, especially for women over the age of forty..... In my research I heard that it was important to take probiotics - making sure you have good bacteria in your gut and also enzymes to aid with the digestive process.The capsules are easy to swallow, there is no after taste or bad scent. Each capsule contains 30mg of Lactobacillus plantarum and 350mg of an amylase, lipase, and protease combination. This has been especially helpful with bloating and eliminating the overfilled, bloated look I've had in the past after eating. The only concern I have is that there is only one type of probiotic in this blend instead of having multiple strains. I've just started using it, and so far my bloating after meals has decreased. This appears to be a gentle probiotic - one that can be easily tolerated.

I have a lot of digestive problems, and do make sure I have "good" bacteria in my diet, but I decided to try these pills to see if it would help even more. I do think that as I have been taking one every morning, I have a reduction in problems. I have not had to use my "zantac" substitute even once during that time. There's only one left in the bottle right now after filling my weekly pill box, so I'll be ordering more. They are worth a try to see if they will help you, as I believe they have me.

I have used this product for many years now. I just returned from overseas to stock up on more, only to find that they changed the product. They used to sell this for $15 for 90 pills. Now it costs between $20-$25 for 30 pills. Nooooooo! I miss the old product and price. Now I am looking for the equivalent somewhere else, which is a shame because the old version was exactly what my body needed.

Seems about the same as my other Probiotic. It is extremely hard to tell with probiotics, vitamins of any supplements how effective they are without actually doing an analysis of your blood. You may feel a bit batter but it may be placebo effect. I gave it 5 stars because I feel it is doing it's job and did not cause any side effects.
