A great buy!
It is well made and affordable, which is just the ticket for me. Compared to my other options, this one meets my needs and was a smart choice on my part.

Awesome!
I love this thing! Comes in very handy to help steady the rifle while testing reloads on a bench when I forget my bench rest stand, Also works well on the ground. I only wish I could use it during the F-Class Match, but as the product itself, it is easy to use and quickly adjust or fine tune to were you need it to be. You can lock in the position with the bolt, and easily collapse it with out losing your height position.

Works as advertised
Obviously expensive for what it is but works as advertised so can't complain

I like it, but know this.
I have one of these and a rail mounted unit Accu-Shot PRM (Precision Rail Monopod) Mid-Range (BT13) with Quick Knob Option. While neither are a replacement for sandbags, the rail mounted unit is more sturdy (in my opinion). This weekend at the range I sighted in my long range rifle at 200 yards with holes touching on sandbags, after I installed this I had opened my grouping to almost 2 inches. It does not have the nice button release to swing the pod down like the rail mounted either, you have to screw a nut down to loosen and swing, and then tighten that nut to stabilize as much as possible.Overall I like having one, but I won't be buying it for any more guns.

Put your money in ammo instead...
The monopod is well made and does work as intended IF the target is in it's adjustment range. If you shoot at a lot of different cant angles then it may not have the adjustment range you need. I have two different models in different heights on two different rifles. Thought I'd love it but feel like it is an overpriced gimmik. Frankly, you are better off putting your money in ammo and working on fundamentals than fiddling with this thing.

Another model would be better for me
I bought the BT-01 last April, and with one exception I'm happy with it. The BT-01 only has one adjustment nut, which has to be snugged up at the top of the adjuster bolt to hold it tight on the rifle. Consequently, it's nearly impossible for me to make the height adjustment then AND LOCK IT DOWN. The bottom adjuster barrel has a tendency to spin, changing the elevation and making me reset it before each shot. I see Accu-Shot has a model BT-04 QK that has TWO adjusting nuts, which I think would probably solve what I consider to be a problem. If you're shopping, I would recommend you compare the several different models Accu-Shot makes, to be sure you're buying the one that's right for you.
