These are great cameras and the picture quality is excellent. Never an issue with connectivity but i do have the highest wifi package due to gamers in the house. Picks up sound very clearly and you can have them mute also. Great value for money. Very easy to set up.

Very easy to connect / start up Brilliant clear footage and sound on phone. You get movement notifications you can talk though it from your phone when your not home. really pleased with this camera though it does State on main description that there’s No Monthly Fee but not entirely true as in order to store videos to playback you have to subscribe to Tapo care at 29.00 per year for iCloud storage. But then only 2.99 per month as I opted for . But there no charge if you don’t want to have video history play back . highly recommended to keep an eye on pets when your out .

Great camera in fact they that good I got another 3 around the house . Cheap value for money and they work just fine . Easy to use and install and you don't need subscription if you don't want it but I do as it's only buttons per month compared to others

I have other Tapo cameras which I have rated (especially for the price). Unfortunately, the motion detection wasn't accurate, and I ended up getting notifications when nothing was there, and none when I know people were there. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, and considered that it may be a problem with that camera, a problem the manufacturers needed to work on, or it was something to do with where I had placed it. Fastforward to the present - I bought a different Tapo, the C210. The good and the bad, in short: THE TAPO C210: + The camera is 'built' on a ball/rotating system, which you can adjust up and down, left and right, remotely, from your phone/the app. It's really convenient if you want to look around the room and see what's going on. It's perfect for pets/children/general security. (See image 1) + You can save 'fixed' camera positions - i.e. if you find a really good angle, you can 'save it' and toggle between them easily rather than adjusting the camera manually on the app. (See image 2) + There's a mode that enables the camera to 'follow' movement, so if your camera is angled at the door, for example, then somebody walks into the room, the camera will follow them. (This can be turned off - the camera can be fixed to a still position). (See Image 4) + There are various 'modes' you can select, depending on what you are using the camera for e.g. to detect a baby crying, motion, people etc. (Motion and people are different, as explained below) - simply turn those modes on and the camera will heighten its sensitivity to those issues. (Although I cannot say how responsive it is to a baby crying, but even with the 'baby crying' feature off, it detects dogs making noises/whimpering). + You can modify the sensitivity to motion (i.e. light/medium/sensitive). My camera has detected a rustling bin bag on all three sensitivities, so it is effective. I have not messed around to determine levels of sensitivity, other than this. (See Image 3) + You can adjust the 'area' within the camera screen (i.e. to only detect motion on a specific part of the frame). It's a handy option for people whose camera coverage also overlaps public space. (See Image 3, also) + Motion vs People detection. - there are separate detections for people and objects (which you can adjust/turn on or off). It's a handy option, depending on what you are using the camera for. (See Image 4 - 'AI Detection' and 'Motion Detection' are separate). + Notifications for movement in general, or people, are separate - the notification will also clearly identify if there's just something moving or if there's a person identified. (See Image 5 - I use an iPhone) + I haven't tested them, so cannot comment on effectiveness, but there are sound and light 'alarms' on the cameras, which I assume go off on the camera, and are to deter intruders. (You may wish to check this - but it seems like a good feature). (See image 4) + Sound quality itself is good - I can hear everything that goes on in the home. + Sensitivity to sound is (a) great quality - a good feature, and good in quality itself. + Fantastic price for the item. + Good quality image, even at night. + No subscription necessary - although you may wish to buy a micro SD card separately to record movement. (Note: nothing over 256gb is supported) + Easy to use app - very simple and straight forward options, as far as apps go. + Quite easy to setup - although a tiny bit of messing around when connecting to wifi. + Easy 'recording' features - although I am awaiting my memory card, so will report back with any useful findings/issues. - The instructions aren't the best. If you aren't 'tech-minded' you may struggle slightly to set it up (although it is not a complicated set up, by far, it can be a bit finicky) - I'd recommend watching a YouTube video, as I imagine they will be substantially better than the small instruction book. (Although when I had issues, I didn't resort to this, fiddled with the wifi a bit and it worked). - The instructions for app use/features is poor too. I have had to mess around with the item to work out how best to use it. It wasn't until messing around with the app that I discovered the features within and things like people/motion being detected differently. - If you plan to use this facing out of a window, I wouldn't recommend it. Night vision is good generally, but there is a small light on the camera that reflects on windows so visibility outside becomes distorted. - A small issue that I experience - sometimes the app isn't the best with data connection. Not awful if your camera is recording constantly, but if you get a notification whilst you're out and you want to check, it can take a while to load and/or a few attempts, and you may have missed the movement (especially if using this camera without recording etc - i.e. 'live' only). All in all, a fantastic budget option with various settings to meet the criteria of many. Some minor issues that will need to be rectified to improve it, but as far as use, price and features go, it's an item that will cater to a lot of needs.

Really good and clear, it’s comforting to be able to see my guinea pigs wherever I am and interesting to see what they get up to while I’m away, which is mostly eating. Easy to set up and sound quality is good. Night view is great if you have animals that are active at night like I do.

After reading a number of bad reviews I was sceptical but figured for the price I'd risk it. WOW i'm so impressed, the picture is crystal clear. Anyone who says it's not needs to get their eyes tested. I'm 64 and downloaded the app and had it running in 5 minutes, including the update it needed. The pan and tilt works great and you can save your selected positions so that you can get it to turn and pitch via a one touch, and I didn't know it could do that. I even managed to video record myself sitting on the sofa lol. The movement is silent and I didn't expect that for this price It's now looking out my double glazed window at the back garden to see who's cat keeps digging my flowers up. I've tested the night mode and no problems with the infrared as reported in another post. It hooked straight up to my Shy wifi box and I never knew the app can handle 9 of these. I'm SO impressed and will definitely be getting another one or two. Well done guys.

What a bargain ! Our old puppy cam had gotten broken so we were looking for a reasonably priced replacement and we definitely got it ! So easy and quick to setup and such a good picture with plenty of extras, alarms and smooth movement. That good we purchased an outdoor camera to replace the one outside. 2 cameras 1 app and plenty of scope to add more. So far I’m very impressed

So I have previously had an internal camera for spying on my dog when I’m at work. It was ok. This is far superior. The view is, in my opinion, excellent. You have the ability to zoom on live images as well as those on playback. The 360 tilt allows me to reposition the camera remotely, and due to the design means I don’t need to worry about the camera falling from its position when using this function. If I’m being picky here then there is sometimes a lag when tilting the camera between me pressing the button and the camera actually moving. It can also change the motion detection and person detection zones if you have these set up, meaning that if you don’t get the camera back to the previous view you will need to amend your zones to match the new view. But that’s being very picky. The ability to speak through the camera and have a ‘call’ is also very useful, and sound quality from recordings is again excellent. In terms of set up it was very simple and straight forward. I had previously purchased TAPO lightbulbs so I was able to add this device to the app already installed on my phone. The camera is discreet enough that it doesn’t bother my dogs if I move the view, and guests have not noticed it when visiting. Perhaps the best feature of all, there is no requirement to sign up to the cloud. Whilst they give you a free try out period you can quite easily fit a memory card to the camera. Again this was simple and easy to do with onscreen prompts through the app in order to get it to work correctly. So yeah overall a great little camera, records in high quality images and sound. If we are being picky there is sometimes a bit of lag on sound and movement when monitoring remotely. But these are niggles and easily overcome. Great value for money in my opinion. Off to look if there’s an external version available!

Ho acquistato questa video camera su consiglio diretto di un'amica che la aveva già a casa sua. La telecamera è di semplice utilizzo, va collegata alla rete elettrica e tramite app dedicata connessa al wifi. Dall'app si può verificare la connessione, si possono aggiungere altre telecamere (cosa che farò al più presto), si può zoommare e ruotare l'inquadratura. La telecamera può essere appoggiata ovunque e persino essere fissata al muro sia in posizione orizzontale che capovolta. Unico, unicissimo neo, arriva con la presa inglese (come mostro in foto) ma problema sormontabile con un semplice adattatore che costa non più di 1 euro.

Compré esta cámara principalmente para poder ver qué tal estaba mi mascota cuando estoy fuera de casa y estoy encantado con el resultado. Decir que yo la he usado sin adquirir ningún tipo de plan de pago para guardar grabaciones en la nube. Simplemente el dispositivo, una SD y listo. Es muy fácil de instalar y configurar con la aplicación del teléfono móvil. Una vez hecho, desde el móvil podemos conectarnos de forma remota y controlarla para que gire tanto en su horizontal (izquierda y derecha) como en su vertical (arriba y abajo), además de poder hacer barridos en estas direcciones. Cabe destacar que la cámara debe estar conectada a la red wifi. Además, la alimentación es por red eléctrica (y no con baterías, por lo que debe estar relativamente cerca de un enchufe). En cuanto a la transmisión de imagen, desde la aplicación podemos ampliar la imagen, tomar fotografías, guardar vídeos (aunque necesitamos un plan de pago en la nube o que hayamos instalado una tarjeta SD en la cámara para poder hacerlo. Si no lo tenemos, podemos directamente sacar captura de pantalla o grabar la pantalla del móvil). La propia cámara tiene sensores y puedes establecer que cuando detecte movimiento te mande una notificación al móvil. Además, tiene micrófono y altavoz incorporado, de manera que existe la opción hablar desde el móvil para que se escuche por la cámara (se escucha realmente bien). Esto puede hacerse en modo enviar audio (siempre que quieras hablar aprietas el botón y el resto del tiempo no transmite audio) o llamada (estará transmitiendo audio todo el rato que esté la llamada activa). Cuenta también con visión nocturna y he de decir, que para el precio que tiene esta cámara, se ve realmente bien. Me dejó sorprendido. En general, es un buen producto. En mi caso, para echarle un ojo a mi mascota funciona genial. Estoy muy contento con la compra. Gracias por leerme! Espero que mi reseña te haya servido de ayuda.

Ich bin von der Tapo C210 so überzeugt, dass ich mittlerweile fünf Stück davon im Einsatz habe – in jedem Zimmer steht eine. Für diesen Preis bekommt man aktuell kaum eine bessere Sicherheitslösung. Warum ich sie immer wieder kaufe: * Perfekt für Tierbesitzer: Ich nutze die Kameras hauptsächlich, um meine Katzen im Auge zu behalten. Der Bewegungsmelder reagiert zuverlässig und durch die Schwenk- und Neigefunktion entwischt mir kein Buddy, egal wo sie gerade herumwuseln. * Hervorragendes Bild: Die 2K-Auflösung (3MP) ist gestochen scharf, und auch die Nachtsicht funktioniert tadellos. Man sieht wirklich jedes Detail, auch wenn das Licht aus ist. * Sicherheitsgefühl: Die Kameras geben mir ein extrem gutes Gefühl, wenn ich nicht zu Hause bin. Die Benachrichtigungen aufs Handy kommen sofort, wenn sich etwas rührt. * Einfache App-Steuerung: Alle fünf Kameras lassen sich super zentral in einer App verwalten. Die Einrichtung war kinderleicht und stabil im WLAN. * 2-Wege-Audio: Ab und zu nutze ich die Gegensprechfunktion, um kurz nach dem Rechten zu sehen oder die Katzen zu rufen. Fazit: Wer eine zuverlässige, günstige und technisch ausgereifte Kamera sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ob als Katzen-Cam oder zur allgemeinen Sicherheit – ich würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen!
