Not for Bugs3 okay for others
this unit works well with the X16 quad copter snaps right on no issues. gives a pretty good shot a little shaky due to soft bushings. my camera is a little heavy at 53 grams. As far as The Bugs3 it caused severe vibrations and shaking. I would not advise this for the Bugs3 Quad copter Just wanted to share this.

Love it! Highly recommended!
This anti jello mount (not gimbal) works great! Even with unbalanced props! Those customers who are having jello problems, try shooting in 1080p 60fps. The higher frame rate helps to reduce the jello effect. As for the landing gear in the shot, it's the action camera not the mount. Action cameras, especially the Fauxpro (go pro knockoffs like the yi cam, sj's, ect.) shoot at an extremely wide angle (170°). If you buy the tall DJI landing gear it will solve that problem (they just screw on, no modification needed), BUT they create a stability problem when landing thanks to their small footprint; so weigh the pros and cons if your new to the hobby. I would and have recommended this mount to X8 owners. All I had to do was pull it out of the mailbox, snap it onto the quad (no screws, no other modifications needed), and pop the camera in the holder; it doesn't get much easier than that! It even survived a few minor crashes.

The camera holder works really well but the rubbers that stabilize the camera are not firm enough and could come off.

Far too fragile. Get something else.
This was so incredibly fragile that i didn't even get to take it outside. It was raining so I installed it and gave it a whirl indoors. When i set the drone down from about 3 feet in the air it actually broke the mount and the camera fell to the floor. This was on thickly padded carpet, not some hard crash onto a tiled floor or something. I evaluated the pieces after it broke and I'm certainly not surprised. The plastic is extremely thin and barely has any connection area on the one side.. less than 3 mm of plastic holds it together. While i don't think it will break in mid air, i do think it is too fragile to expect to use more than a few times. Buy something better or create your own set up.

Nice, with a caveat.
I give three stars because the vibration dampening rubber balls pop out of the frame quite easily. I've since replaced the rubber balls with stiffer ones that I had laying around. The product itself is nice. It slides securely into the X8C, It holds my LD6000 camera securely. One very nice thing, the camera is held off the ground using the stock Syma landing gear legs. Nice touch. Video quality is sharp and artifact free, no jello. I would not hesitate to buy this again.

It did its job in the air that is why I gave it 2 stars.. BUT..
I finally got to use my mount for my new action camera on my Syma x8w. Clipped in well, action camera fit well. And it did its job in the air that is why I gave it 2 stars. BUT if you land it somewhat hard, a decent jolt to the ground... the 4 cheap "thin" rubber shock pieces pop right out of there spots and the whole thing has to be taken apart to put them back in. Out of my first 6 landing it happen twice. If your good at landing then it shouldn't be a problem, but if you have a hard landing even once it could all come apart

Goid inexpensive mount with no jello
Excellent mount. Absolutely no jello effect with a gopro clone and unbalanced blades and straight-forward to mount. Light-weight and solid hold of camera. If the minimal-mount provided does not work with your cam, the pivot is standard so you can mount a more specific holder. Did not adversely affect flight either other than the obvious average weight. Seems to be centered well-enough.

A bit too large for my action camera and I had a little grommet issue.
This is decent I had some issue with the grommets and the cam holder was a bit too large so I had to cut rubber to try to get it to not vibrate which is strange. All in all it did help with the jello somewhat.
