A successful addition to my home automation
Day one. (More to follow if things go wrong later)Purchased to provide a means for managing blinds in places where manual adjustments are difficult, or out of reach of my 4'11" wife.Installed fairy easily. Construction seems solid.Although I bought the kit with the hub, that was a backup in case my Home Assistant Zigbee install didn't recognize the blinds. Shouldn't have bothered, ZHA recognized it perfectly, with all features needed including battery level.Only small complaint is I wish they were quieter, but even that is a small issue as they are probably as quiet as they can get and still have the power to twist the blinds. Mine are a bit stiff, but these power through and can control the blades fine.4 months in....Still very happy. Still working great. Integration with home assistant has been excellent. Highly recommend.

Awesome set-and-forget blinds
Just dinged the rating a little because the remote can be a little janky, and the phone app is sorta buggy (editing schedules doesn't work- you need to delete and recreate for updates to take effect. and scheduling to groups doesn't work- you need to schedule individual blinds). but once you work around those issues, you can set up your blinds on a schedule, and set-and-forget!also got a really quick response from support when I had a battery issue in one of the blinds!

Fails just out of warranty.
Bought over $2300 of these. 13 wands. 5 have failed in less than a year and a half. 1 during warranty. 4 after. like other people have posted your screwed on a very expensive item. At the rate there failing will probably loose all of them before long. My neighbor who put me on to them has had 2 of the four they bought fail also just over as year out. There is obviously a flaw in one of the components. They wont be around long selling a product with this failure rate. Hopefully save some people wasting there money.

Amazing!
So glad I waited for the second gen to come out! Zigbee2mqtt already has these setup so it’s pretty much plug and play and you get full control in home assistant! My only complaint if there is one which is probably more with zigbee2mqtt is that you can only open and close the blinds one way. I still have to hook up the controller but I’m not sure if I need to use their hub for that. I don’t want to use the hub as all I need is Zigbee. If you are on the fence, buy them they work amazing in a full home automation setup!
