​I bought this because I needed a new hole punch for my home office and was pleasantly surprised by how little strength it takes to use. It punches through paper very smoothly without having to force it, and the metal build feels sturdy and durable for the price. ​ My favorite part is actually the storage design. I was confused by the three plastic clips at first, but I realized they lock the handle down for a low profile. This makes it so much easier to tuck away in a shallow desk drawer. It's a great, affordable tool that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I bought this hole punch to keep up with my kids’ homeschool papers, and it’s been working really well for that. It comfortably punches through about 12 sheets at a time like it claims. Makes it quick to get a whole stack into a binder. It feels sturdy and doesn’t slide around on the table thanks to the rubber base. The little tray that catches the paper dots is also easy to empty which is nice since I’m using it pretty often. Kept one and gave one to niece. Good price. When I opened it, I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't close to punch. No instructions. 2 black plastic pieces need to be broken off to use. Just discovered it by chance when one broke off while I was trying to straighten it. I thought maybe it was working because the piece was crooked. Now that the pieces are out of the way, it works. It would help if they included a sticker saying remove these black pieces.

Not flimsy and will do several pieces of paper at a time. Easy to empty out when the catcher is full of "holes". Bostich usually has quality office products and this one is too.

This hole punch is the best hole punch I have purchased. It punches holes like it has no other purpose in life, and seeing how it’s not alive I guess that is its purpose is to punch holes. Not too much else to say about a hole puncher, it’s smooth and punches the hole correctly in same spot every time I use it! Easy to use. The color of it is pleasing, and the comfort of smashing holes is equally pleasing.

This Bostitch 3 hole punch feels like a proper upgrade from the basic metal ones you usually see in an office. It punches very clean holes, even when you are close to the 12 sheet capacity. I have not noticed any tearing, rough edges, or misaligned holes. Everything lines up nicely in binders, which is really what you want from a punch. The alignment guides work very well. Pages are easy to line up, and once you set them, the holes come out consistent every time. The handle has a comfortable, slightly rubbery feel that makes it nicer to use, especially if you are punching multiple sets of pages. It does not feel cheap or flimsy when you press down. The rubber base keeps the punch stable on the desk so it does not slide around while you are using it. The chip tray is also convenient to empty and does its job without making a mess. So far there have been no issues with durability, no strange noises, and nothing loosening or bending. Overall it genuinely feels more premium than the standard metal models I have used before. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is best suited for normal day to day use. The 12 sheet capacity is fine for most tasks, but if you are regularly punching very thick stacks, this is not a heavy duty unit. For typical home or office paperwork though, it delivers exactly what you need with a better feel and finish than the average punch. Filing systems in Europe are NOT what I'm familiar with. So I had to buy a 3-hole punch to work with all my existing notebooks, etc. Works well, punches cleanly. 10/10 would absolutely buy again.
