Made to last
Excellent for high altitude hikes. Preferably cold weather. For wet environments, or river passing routes they could be a heavy burden.Besides that, this is a high quality product, made to last.

Not so good but getting better!
A hook on the boot came off within a few weeks of wearing.I will try to get another pair from supplier.Update: I have spoken with manufacturer and they are backing their product!!The supplier should have but did not.

Very comfortable
Shoes are very light and comfortable. They don't seem to breath as much as other similar style of boots I have but still very enjoyable to wear. Highly recommend.

sizing changed from previous shoe, same brand
I was ecstatic when I received my first pair of Salewas--they fit and felt like slippers and I wore them out. Ordered this pair in the same sizing and expected a similar result, but they are 1/2" less wide. They were my work boots for an installation in Miami for a week and I walked 15 miles a day on concrete in them, something I'd done many times in my original boots. At the end of the week I was hobbled and could barely walk. I has taken me months to recover from this and, frankly, I don't care what the cause is--if they changed sizing or where they were manufactured or made a mistake or whatever, I'm never buying them again. I thought I'd found my brand, but I didn't. Really over how the shoe companies keep trying to "improve" and are actually injuring their customers.

Great Product Comfortable Warm and Stable
This is one of several pairs of Salewa Hiking shoes/boots that I own and have been satisfied with their comfort stability and durability 👍

Decent
Decent. Even with changing the insoles, it hurts feet when walking over smaller rocks.
