Quick & easy to make up...the powder mixes well, leaving no dry residue. It thickens quickly and firms up well, just like made fresh. Lovely herby veggie flavours & easy to eat from tub, save mess. A very good emergency food, but good enough to serve with regular meals...hard to believe it's made from a simple powder in a pot...will buy again, as it's so handy & tasty!!!

I do love these 1) for convenience and 2) for flavour, my only gripe is the fact that there is no cabbage, now I know that it's powdered but you can have bacon so why can't you have cabbage, I'm sorry to say this but no cabbage it's NOT bubble and squeak.

Excellent value for money and high quality item. I had never had ‘perfect mash’ before but I can honestly say I will absolutely getting them again.

What I like about this product is that it makes a perfect instant mash. Follow the instructions and it's simple to get a tasty portion of mash, quick and easy. Will buy again for sure.

I never thought instant mashed potato could taste like REAL potatoes - these DO ! Idaho is America's main potato growing state owing to the ideal soil quality conditions and boy can you taste it ! These would be ideal for camping holidays as a tasty treat. Provided you get the boiling water amount spot on the firm texture is perfect too.

Bubble 'n squeak as I was led to believe was a green vegetable (a strong flavoured one like sprouts or cabbage), potatoes, onions (lots), and bacon or that was cooked in bacon fat!! I was shown this by my Nan born in the 1880's, my Mum born in the 1920's in (then) very rural Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire countryside!! They were in a very poor rural society, they learnt how to produce tasty and very cheap meals The now well known bubble 'n squeak tasted, depending on what was available at that season principley oof onions/greens/bacon (or if there was no actual bacon then bacon fat in which it was always cooked) So to me this was insipid but if your prepared to taste little but mashed potatoes it is a fairly good instant snack Perhaps it's just that were all used to bland foodstuffs these days or is it that people of my age don't write reviews?? It's good as a quick snack if your prepared to accept the lack of flavour, but the taste was insipid🙁
