This is a great board book that can help young children with potty training especially if they love cocomelon. So we have been trying to potty Trina in our young son for some time now and have tried a lot of things to varying success, books to read to him on the potty and also at bed time to help normalise the transition have been pretty good I think. This book is literally just the lyrics to the potty song from cocomelon, there is no story to it or anything, it is the lyrics to the song along with images that have been lifted from the show. This is fine if you go in knowing this, but if you have not seen cocomelon or go in expecting a full story with bespoke artwork then you might be disappointed. I recommend watching the song on the show before you read the book so you can get the cadence of the song correct, it will help a lot as with just the lyrics it is hard to get the tempo down. The book is well made and our son likes to sing along with us when we all go through the book together while he is on the potty. Overall I’m happy with the book and it is really good value especially for the cocomelon tie in.
