Who knew casters could be so sexy?
These are some beefy casters!I'm building a desk for my girlfriend and was going for that industrial/steam punk look that's all the rage right now. She likes to rearrange furniture on a whim, so a mobile desk was a must.These are solid, heavy casters with brakes that you could likely use to transport elephants and water buffaloes. The wheel is cast metal with no rubber coating of any kind. Keep that in mind if you plan to use these on hardwood floors or any surface you don't want damaged since they'll likely leave marks over time. The description is correct, the wheels are 5", and the overall height (including swivel and bracket) is 6 1/4". It doesn't come with any screws/bolts to attach the casters which was perfectly find with me--how is the seller going to have any clue how--and to what--you plan to attach them? I ended up welding them to the bottoms of my table leg brackets I made (see attached picture).I love these things. Sure, they may seem a little pricey, but you're getting a nice chunk of metal for your money.Will definitely buy more of these for future projects.

Heavy duty, solid, and total vintage look!
Item perfectly described. These are heavy duty all metal caster wheels. I bought the 5” for a dresser makeover and the 3” for a locker nightstand I built. They do not come with any screws or bolts but I knew that after reading other reviews. Worth every penny!
