The magic that transforms you as you read, contained in all of Stephen’s books, is present here again, this time in a more powerful way.As Stephen describes Adam’s (the main character) mystical experiences, the opportunity is opened for the reader to actually experience them too. It is not just the superb description that allows it, it is the energetic portal and opening this book creates for you if you are willing to receive it from your heart.The experience of oneness through the means and methods of each tradition is one of the main focuses of this book. This book encourages and inspires you through example to fully engage on the means and methods of the tradition or traditions of your choice in order to have the direct experience of the source, the one consciousness. Even though I am not a fan of Science Fiction, this book had an easy going blend of Sci-Fi action and spirituality. Sci-Fi die-hards will probably be unimpressed with the action that is available in the story but would also most likely be put off by the spiritual lessons. At the same time do not be put-off by the use of Sci-Fi in this book, if you are a fan of the series. It is very minimal at best. I think each "fight" lasted maybe 1 - 2 paragraphs...? It integrates the Sci-Fi element only to illustrate the physical struggle that is experienced through out the book. The main character in this one appears to be much more willing and capable of dealing with teh metaphysical aspects than the previous ones but struggles more in the physical realm. Speaking of previous characters; Stephen Shaw delighted me by incorporating some of the more notable characters from the previous two books. The ending is rather abrupt and feels like a golden opportunity to make it into something truly memorable, was missed. That being said, I can not wait to get started on the next book!

Today as I was reading Star Child for the Third time since I bought it in January, my heart was cracked wide open when I once again read about "The Mantra of the Tantra". Many of us live in fear and pain which keeps us in darkness or out of a state of pure being or pure love. By reading this awesomely inspirational book, you will learn over and over how to be the light that you truly are and how to open your heart and have the courage to be vulnerable to loving yourself and others in a way you never dreamed was possible. When you allow this to happen, you will be open and capable of experiencing a Heart Orgasm. I know your heart and soul will be blessed by the divine love and energy that Stephen infuses into every word of this spiritual masterpiece...

This amazing story takes you through not only the adventure of the characters but also of the reader. I have taken my time reading 'Star Child' after whizzing through (and loving every page of) 'I AM', and 'Heart Song', Stephen's two previous amazing books, to really go through this story as a spiritual journey of my own.The adventure that the reader is taken on is transformational and healing in so many ways and can be as easy, fun, or as challenging as one makes it; the story also helps the reader to implement the spiritual teachings into their own life as and when, or if the reader wishes to at all - this book is ideal for EVERYONE at ANY point along their own journey and can be read again and again.I have learned from 'Star Child' many answers to my spiritual and Life questions, things that have otherwise always been a challenge and never fully understood along my Life journey. Now, since starting 'Star Child', my journey has become easier, profound, awesome and really exciting!!If the only lesson I take from this book is that I do not need to battle or fight in life to become the best that I can be for myself and for the good of others and that surrendering is actually easy and very rewarding, it still remains to be certainly the most inspirational and transformational book I have ever read. I have full love and respect for Stephen's teachings and I really look forward to his next book!! <3

Oh my goodness how I love Stephen Shaw's books! Stephen manages to somehow combine easy reading with deep and complex spiritual ideas. In Star Child the story leads you effortlessly into wisdom, transformation and healing. This book surprised me - it touched on everything that I have been interested in since childhood - Egypt, India, Ancient Gods, Aliens, Teachers and timeless wisdom and much more. It touched my heart in a very personal way because as I became lost in the story it reminded me that there are things my soul knows that I may have lost touch with because of daily life. There could not be a better time to remind us all that our souls speak and we need to hear and trust that inner voice. Star Child takes us on a journey into what we have always felt to be true but may not have trusted. It pulls together so many spiritual elements, so many resonances that I was left feeling that the book had touched many levels within me - and to me this is the sign of a book that contains ultimate truth - reaching the deepest layers of the readers consciousness and leaving a deeply energetic mark. A book that once read will be read again and never forgotten. I can highly recommend this and any of Stephen's books to anyone interested in finding their real self and waken to ultimate truth.

This book has a very special place in my heart - I was led to read it through a number of synchronicities and am so glad I did!It is a complete joy to read, very easy to read and full of wit and things I always wished I knew about most of the religions of the world. A mystical adventure full of lush descriptions that make you want to travel the world!OK it might seem a strange combination for a book that will help you enjoy life more...but just trust me on this one!If you like Stephen Shaw's books then you will love this one - and if you haven't read one of his books yet then you really do owe it to yourself to give him a go!Bon voyage!

Star Child is a marvellous story containing advanced mystical teachings. Read it studiously otherwise you will miss much of its hidden gems! I chose to join the author's June 2013 Magic Trip in Peru. (That's me seated in the middle of front row in the Peru Group photo on Stephen's website). The Peru trip completely blew me away! Stephen Shaw is far more than his books imply. He is humble, ego-free, loving-kind and completely focused on the happiness and well-being of others. Peru, of course, is the inner sanctum. A place where we encountered magic and power on a daily basis. Working with Stephen and the shamans took me to levels of mystical experience I could only have dreamed about. I absolutely loved Stephen's first book, I AM and have lost count how many times I've read it. Heart Song was the second excellent read which - incredibly - really did change some important issues around for me! Star Child blew me away with some of the really mind boggling things that the main character was doing, but it was a great ride! I will no doubt read it again, and again, and again.

Having read other books by Stephen Shaw before, I instantly picked up Star Child expecting something special. And I wasn't disappointed. Star Child is a riveting book.It takes you on an incredible journey, enlightening the reader as to what peace, hope and love can do for our world. It restores faith in humanity that we can bring peace, love and light into even the darkest of plights. A wonderful read, filled with compelling themes and advanced spiritual belief systems, it makes a worthwhile addition to any reader. An inspirational and illuminating book.

Once again I was immersed into a book after the first two or three pages. Adam Kadmon, the name of the first man on earth, meeting up with Ra, the Source of all. Together they start a journey of discovery that will enable every starseed and light worker to find their own truth. With the help of Ra and Baset Adam jumps from one reality to another, looking for several objects, showing us different belief systems from different continents, which in essence are all based on the same belief of Truth, Love, Light and Hope. Definitely worth a read.

Star Child is a fascinating read. There are many different disciplines contained in Star Child which are thoroughly researched and easily explained to the reader. This book gives an excellent insight into varying religions, practices and ways of life of many different cultures and the touches of humour add to the overall enjoyment of reading. There will be something of interest for everyone in this book together with a message of hope for the future of our world together with the knowledge that we can all make a difference. Well worth a second or third read as there is so much to absorb.

This book was absolutely brilliant. On the surface a fiction book but going deeper so much more. Many lessons to learn and a view of the future too. So much to take in at once. After finishing Star Child, I re-read all three to integrate the information all together. Totally amazing!!Thank you Stephen.

Although written in an easy to read, sometimes humorous style, it is nevertheless a deep, multi level masterpiece of the human experience and how we limit ourselves; it will awaken your heart and soul and lead you along the path of realisation that we are powerful and unlimited beings of light and love.
