ProsourceFit Extra Thick Yoga and Pilates Mat

This yoga mat makes all the difference. I hate how when you buy a yoga mat it’s thin and you can still feel the ground or the floor through it and it’s hard and there’s no cushion and it causes pain and all of the different movements . Not on this thing! I can take it anywhere outside as long as the ground is flat and have an amazing yoga session. I’m never sore, it hasn’t cracked her bent, and it’s so comfortable that no matter what yoga position you’re doing it has just enough cushion and give to really support you. I would recommend this to anybody who does yoga on a regular basis. Seriously, when I say it will change your entire yoga routine. I mean it. Well worth the investment, even though it was a little pricey. The worst thing about it is how big it is to store it. But it’s definitely worth it!

Very comfortable, though bulky to carry. I bought the one inch thickness and discovered that the 1/2 inch would have worked. Could have saved ten bucks.The mat is versatile for yoga and other exercises, but also works great for lifting weights. The texture allows me to maintain a solid stance while doing squats.

I'm new to yoga and getting older. I tried using my daughter's (average depth) mat from high school, but it wasn't comfortable for me, so I struggled to stay motivated to work out. When I tell you this mat has made all the difference, I absolutely mean it. It is so comfortable on my joints, I now look forward to exercise. I've lost 26lbs so far and I feel better than ever. I don't think I could've done that without this mat. The fact that it is so thick is what makes it so amazing - definitely recommend!

I am using this for my new Pilates - This is a great matt for anyone that has Knee Issues. Talk about extra padding, when they explain that you may need extra padding for some work on your knees - you don't with this matt. You may want to get a belt or band for travel/storage.

I returned this because it was too big to carry to class and it was too squishy/unstable for standing on one foot for tree pose for example. But if you really need 1” for your purposes don’t worry about the smell the other reviewers have complained about. I bought Gaiam yoga mat of the same material but thinner, it smells the same.

Toss that yoga mat you've been trying to use and exercise (work your body!) on one of these downright luxurious mats! I can't kneel on a yoga mat without my knees screaming at me. My hips second that and when I drop my weights (oops) it doesn't sound like the house is falling down anymore.It's comfortable, I'm more inclined to USE it than the two yoga mats I was stacking together (that did NOT work well).If you're serious about doing your physical therapy floor work this is the way to go. I was spoiled using the table work at the PT facility, but can I do a bridge on the dining table? Uhhhhh, no. So this IS the way to go.Let's get physical (therapy) going!

OK, so I didn't buy this for exercising. I got it to protect my bay windowsill from my two hyper dogs' nails (they can easily jump up there, and do so excessively). I cut the mat to fit, and it's done an excellent job. Cheaper than a custom cushion and it doesn't fly off every time they jump up there. They have scratched it up quite a bit, so good thing it's extra thick!

i bought this because my inexpensive yoga mat provided no cushioning for my knees on the hard floor at my gym. This mat does the trick.

Really thick and nice mat, I have hardwood floors so this is great for me. I love that it's super long too so you can really stretch out and be comfortable

Love this extra thick mat. People keep telling me it is a Pilates mat but I use it for yoga and it cushions my bones and knees 😊😊
