So I finally got to film with my camera and when going back through the footage I realized the audio was terrible. It sounded so muffled. I tested the mic and it’s settings over and over again and nothing worked. The camera itself is great and pretty easy to use though (I appreciate the remote). I figured out a work-around for the time being but just a heads up for anyone else.

Not a bad camera for the money not great in low light but the night vision is decent enough. Came with 3 batteries and a charger cord that you have to charge through the camera itself would have like to have a separate charger as its a hassle to keep all 3 batteries fully charged. But its good for vlogs and random videos so serves it's purpose

The first one I received was DOA, wouldn't power on. The new arrival seems fully functional.A note: If you thought you'd use it without the external mic, think again. Its internal mic is terrible. Almost no useful sound at all. It is much worse than a similar camera I've used in the past (without an external mic).I haven't figured out how to turn out the loud beeping when I use the menu buttons. If you wanted to film somewhere quiet, think again!My 9-year old immediately took the camera and spent a bunch of time making up her own TV show. Could make a great kids size camera, although the external mic makes it clunkier for her to handle (and she's got to make sure not to unplug the cable).

The media could not be loaded.  I was excited to get this. Confused putting everything together. The microphone attachment worked well. I could not use the connecting cable to either laptop or desktop, I could only remove memory card and insert into desktop was my only option. Since I am just a volunteer, I plan to use it record senior citizens activities & meetings and load to a new YouTube channel: Senior Citizens of Big Bear Valley. I'll also still will use a 10+ year old camera, easier to connect. The pause doesn't allow for continues for same video Still learning.

spend a little more and get something better. only reason I'm even giving it 3 out of 5 is because it is cheap. It shows whenever you play back the video on a large screen. You can get away using this if you have a lot of good lighting.

When I saw this camera on Amazon it sounded like the best thing ever for an incredible price. If it sounds to good to be true or you get what you pay for. It is a video camera but the images don't come out crystal clear. Also, the 16X zoom is a joke. Sitting at my desk looking at computer monitor just 30" in front, I use the zoom to the fullest and only brought the image about a foot closer. It would not even zoom in enough to read my screen. My phone camera zooms in more than this. And the screen menu is small naturally but navigating it is a bit cumbersome. This is good for a kid or someone who just wants to have fun with a camera but don't count on zooming in so images look huge to the eye.
