I highly recommend this product if you are searching for a small but, effective adjustable lamp.

I normally don’t write reviews, I probably should more as I know it is so important for the small businesses that sell through Amazon… However I felt it necessary to give a good review for this particular product. I normally have a plug in based lighting system at home for my painting that I do, however with an upcoming trip, I didn’t want to pack that particular like because it doesn’t fold down at all. I needed a different solution that would pack well and work just as good. This is my solution! It lights up my artwork beautifully making it so easy to work on my paintings. And it can fit in my pencil pouch where I keep all of my brushes and other supplies that I need!

When I first got this, I thought it was super cool and useful, especially the way it bends in different positions. Physical design on this thing is 5/5 stars. The base could use a little more weight but it is not that big of deal. The first thing I noticed is how bright the light is when turned on. There is a setting for low or high brightness. This thing is the perfect amount of brightness that I need…… except when I tried to charge it. So the full brightness does not work while it is plugged in. This is a huge design failure in the electrical department.Why wouldn’t something like this simply work correctly when plugged in? It’s a light! This is what all lights do. I tried multiple chargers to make sure it’s not my plugs. Base off of my experience, you can only use this before the battery dies, and then fully charge it again before using.Overall, I can’t recommend this product. It beats the purpose of having a portable light. I needed this for studying. It works great when it’s fully charge, but it loses its real world functionality when it doesn’t work the entire time you need it.

I needed a small, lightweight, and portable lamp with a diffused light and variable brightness. This lamp just about ticks all of those boxes. It's made of aluminum and that's probably added a little to the weight, but if it were made of lighter plastics it probably wouldn't have survived when I over-extended it and it tumbled off the table. I've done that a couple of times now.The lamp is a little top-heavy, but that has little to do with me over-extending it the few times I've done that. It's just that all of the electronics are in the top-most part of the lamp.The brightness range is adequate and the color is cool white as advertised. I'm not an expert on CRI but it doesn't feel like colors under it feel unnaturally weak or anything. I got the lamp for a couple of purposes, one of which was for use with a document camera in a dimly lit room. It works for that purpose. It's also convenient for lighting the area around medication—your author is a diabetic who needs to see that he's prepped his insulin pen for injections without disturbing others. Again this lamp does the trick.Downsides … the charging port on this lamp is USB C, but it will not charge at all when connected to an Anker USB PD charger. I'm sure I could get an adapter that'd make it work but … I shouldn't have to. C'mon people, figure it out. It charges fine from an Anker Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 charger (also Anker) as well as a few dumb chargers I've tried. Also, you can't fold it flat to charge it, boo! I meant it when I said the electronics are entirely in the top. If the charging port ran through the legs of the device to its base, it'd be able to be charged while folded flat. Of course, there would also be some points of failure if it did that. The manufacturer chose the tradeoff that made the product more robust. (And probably cheaper to make.)Would buy another. In fact, I intend to buy two more in the near future.

I recently moved into a small apartment which didn’t have a whole lot of room for my old desk. So I needed to downsize to save some space. Accidentally stumbled on this desk lamp and The design was cool and looks like it would be small and work great on my postage stamp of a desk. Sure enough, this lamp was perfect. It’s so small but bright and can be bent at angles to fit perfectly on my desk! (Mines behind my monitor and sticks over the top, it’s perfect) I would recommend 100%

So far, this lamp has been acreal joy. It folds up small an fits into the carrying case provided and going anywhere. Holds a charge for 3 to 4 hours (that's the most I use it) to date. Recharges quite fast and briteness can be lowered or raised at the power switch. Really good product. Well made. I would buy it again. Handy.

PROS: Good design, Lightweight, Portable for on the go, Fits in briefcase or purse.The reason for 3 stars is due to the highest level of brightness no longer working on either (I have two). Even after charging OR during charging the brightest level doesn't work. I need a bright light.CONS: The highest brightness setting has stopped working and it only does that level of bright for seconds. This happened with not one, but two of these lamps.
