HEIDI HECKELBECK AND THE SECRET ADMIRER

My granddaughter loved this book!

I tutor a 3rd grader in reading and she and I read this book in 2 days! She loves these books and I'm working on getting all of them for her for summer reading.As with the other books in this series this was an easy read. It can be challenging depending on the reading level but it is easy as in once you get started you want to see what happens. There a pictures on every page which keeps the interest of young readers. The characters are funny and lovable. I'm looking forward to starting the next one!

My daughter went through eye therapy, because she had trouble tracking....mainly due to her lack of interest in reading. She's read the entire series and anxiously awaits each new book to come out. We also like it because of the font and print. It's definitely easy on the eyes if you have a child with a similar issue.

My daughter, 8, loved the story line. She told me that she can relate to Heidi's goofiness and love for learning. Since reading the book, she's all about discussing "crushes". We'll be purchasing other books to see what else Heidi gets herself into.

They are great chapter books with some illustration to make things interesting for the reader. My daughter has never been a big reader however all of Heidi's books she can not put them down!! I am a very happy mom!!!
