Nice quality lights. I bought these to replace traditional Christmas tree lights and below are my thoughts on the comparison: Fairy String Lights vs Traditional Christmas Tree String Lights: Brightness: Overall, these lights are not quite as bright as traditional string lights. While you could light a room with the traditional string, these serve as "twinkle lights" that glow nicely but I wouldn't rely on them as a primary source of lighting during the holidays (or any other time.) Set up: The thin wire is very flexible, but still holds its shape well, making it extremely easy to hang these lights virtually anywhere by wrapping small loops around any available object. A traditional string of lights will hang from objects but is never nearly as secure as these and certainly can't "climb" an object like a tree as well as these can. Life: I have another fairy string that I've had in a tree for about 3 years and it's still going strong even after being turned on nearly every night. Traditional string lights, by contrast, tend to burn out in a year or two - first individual lights and then entire portions of the string. I have yet to see this happen with the fairy lights.

I love the plug-in fairy lights! Battery powered simply burn through the batteries, but this is my second year using these wonderful fairy lights and the still burn bright. I use one string to supplement the miniature lights on my tree. I will order more eventually because they add a festive glow everywhere you want to put them!

Very bright for how tiny they are. Turn them on at night for the only light I need before bed. Nice ambiance to the room. I just wish they had a remote.

This was my first time buying fairy lights so I didn't quite know what to expect. I bought these and another kind (battery-powered) and these are far superior. They are soft and bright and I love the way the wire "tangles" to make a very pretty effect. You get a very long strand so there's a lot you can do with it. It's so great that these are USB operated and I don't have to worry about how long they'll last (I've already had to change the batteries of the other set I bought). I can keep them on and enjoy them more without having to worry about how soon they'll burn out. I love these and highly recommend!

Was exploring some different lighting options to help my Zoom background (AKA my office) display a little better on calls and decided to give these string lights a shot. Mini light clips helped finish the look that friends confuse with "gamer" rather than "adult man with a Pinterest account." Now, I leave them on almost all day as they aren't too bright like some pure white LED's, but instead nicely warming. There's a LOT of lighting here for the price, so I wound up doing the edge of my standing cubbies, too, with plenty to spare. The reel they're attached to makes it less of a pain than going full Christmas Vacation when putting up lights, preserving your sanity.

These have a golden paradise like glow that are gentle in the day and magical and bright at night. Really make my garage feel like a happy place. They just worked perfectly right out of the package and they unrolled easily from the roll and are so light weight that you can hang them from anywhere and they don’t pull down on things. Despite being feather light, they seem very strong and well made. I can’t believe I got such a nice thing for such a small price. Makes me feel very spoiled and lucky. They’ve been here at least a month now in this open garage in Florida and they’ve stayed in place and glowing throughout rains and storms and winds. I highly recommend this purchase. <3

This is my second set of these fairy lights. The original set lasted 2 yrs. I ordered a longer set and stretched them out on a table and then put two 2 lines of lights next to each other and twisted them . Turned out great,on the boat. I did other another color , blue, to offset the scene. Highly recommend.
