Slipstreamer S-03 Slipstreamer Windshield (CLEAR)

Looks awesome, the smoke tint color is perfect (not too dark) and it doesn't shake or anything. Blocks a lot of wind so money well spent.

I went to YouTube for installation tips. Even though the video I watched did not use the hardware package with this windshield, it was helpful. The upper supports are good. The lower ones that attach to the shocks could use improvement. I wish they were as substantial as the clamps that attach to the handlebars. The diameter of the shocks on my Honda fell between the slots for adjustment. I made up the difference with rubber from a bicycle tube. Also, I had to drill a hole in the support angle to make it work, but that was not a big deal. When you buy something that is a universal fit, it is reasonable that you may have to drill/bend or cut something. Overall I'm happy with it, and it makes a huge difference in comfort in cold weather.

The windshield has a great shape and allows for great rider protection. Mounting hardware is horrible and inadequate for holding the windshield firmly. Hardware is a very low grade soft aluminum that strips easily. Windshield will not stay tight.My bike is clearly listed as one this unit fits, however the lower mounting holes are nowhere close and must be re-drilled.I'll build new brackets and make this work, but I certainly wouldn't buy it again. Look elsewhere for a higher quality unit.

This is not my 1st Slipstreamer purchase and I have been happy with all their products.I have a Classic bike and for me it made more sense to have custom lower mounts made - Their mounts are good but I wanted something more solid.This windscreen is great for blocking wind and as a fairing shape it keeps your hands from getting the effect of the wind as well.would recommend if it fits your bike.

Instructions are not clear on the fork bracket installation on which direction to install. I had it upside down at first. Watching a subsequent You tube video cleared it up. Otherwise it works great!.

The windshield itself is shaped very nicely and looks to be of good quality. The mounting hardware is very poorly designed and of low quality. I made up my own mounting brackets from leftover units from a broken Givi universal windscreen and custom made for the rest of it. The average guy should not even look at this manufacturers products until they start supplying some decent installation hardware with some engineering thought involved in making it. To bad because they seem to have a nicely made shield.

Fits my '79 CX 500 custom quite well. Mounting screws difficult to keep tight. Slipstream company has been very gracious in providing replacement screws at no charge.
