Worked great!

Shipped fast. Solved my leaky sink problem. Easy install, 5 minutes to install. I had to use my original screw which seamed to work better than new screw provided with part. There is a sticky black coating (to get a good "seal" I'm sure), this sticky grease will come off on your hands--washes off with some effort using hot/soapy water, maybe wear cheap pair of rubber gloves when installing. No more leak from Insinkerator disposal. Original part seemed thinner in around rim that failed (rubber cracked). New part seems better made. See pictures.

This item will resolve the problem of attaching plumbing to disposal. Original connector lasted18 months. Special part so we will see how this product lasts. Not impressed with current quality of incinerator hope this fix will last more than 18 months

I have an insinkerator disposal. The plumber did not use the clamp sent with the disposal. The clamp used damaged the coupler that came with the disposal. Took a chance hoping this coupler would work and it did. I used the original screw as recommended in previous reviews and the spring clamp that came with the disposal. Works perfect. No leaks. So much for hiring a professional. Will buy again if needed.

Does the job it was designed for. No modifications needed. Easy to install.
