Wow - truly impressed - Very useful, usable, and capable
SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD LINK IS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION!! Note: this is not needed unless you want to control it from a PC. NOTE: The .rar file at that link has a long filename, as do the nested directories, which causes Windows problems (failed my first try due to these long filename paths). Windows error messages (or lack thereof) are useless (Windows fault!). SOLUTION: Unzip (7zip) the contents to your root drive, and/or drag out the folder "iPowerCtrlv___" to a higher level directory, or even your C: drive, and install from there. Then it worked a treat. Also had to reboot to recognize the device. Small and extremely functional, doesn't take over my workbench. Love the display: your choice of history graph (good for tracking charging), or large output V&A display. All needed values shown on display at all times: Set values (V & A), Present output (V & A), Limits (OVP & OCP), Watts, Mode (CV vs CC), Time, On/Off - all except total Ah. Output within 0.01V of my voltmeter. Buttons & knob are simple, but everything you need. 4 memory slots (knob to select). Software spartan, but functional - 10 hotkeys for V/A settings, 100 memories, output control, configurable graphs (with export). The ONLY thing missing on this is total Ah, and I wish the fan was a little quieter - it runs even if the output is off (no load). Oh - and would be nice if the power switch was in front for ease of access on a workbench. Kiprim also responded within 24 hours to my request for the download link - and NOW I notice it was already at the top of the Product Description <insert sheepish grin>. If you want a 30v/10A supply with more than just V/A/W displayed, this is the one to get - or spend a lot more. Will update if there's any change ...

Buy it!!!
Just received it today so I will update if anything changes. The fan...I don't why everyone says it's loud. I had a simpler power supply (LONGWEI K3010D) who's fan was much louder when running. This thing is quieter on high speed than that one on high! Absolutely love all the features!! The graphing is a fun gimmick. It would be great if you could scroll back and see the graph over time! The real star is the memory. You can set up charging parameters for batteries or other projects. Adjust the settings and compare output to trusted multimeters and then save and forget. Save the settings and be confident of the output after that. Simple and done once! The other interesting feature is the ability to turn it into a manual charger of sorts with adjustable voltage, current and time frames. Could be very useful if you want to bulk charge a battery, desulfate and then have it go into a soaking charge before shutting down automatically. I will definitely update if anything changes on this but so far this is a fantastic unit!

Meh
It does a good job for what it is. It is not truely accurate. Mine is off by 0.4V. If its going to have the "ability" to do tenths of Vs, it needs to be accurate. The graphing is a nice touch. If youre just using it to charge batteries, or run Christmas lights, etc. Its a good unit. If you need a very accurate power supply, this isnt it. Its cheap, and does what you expect a cheap unit to do, so it is worth the price point.

A really great and accurate power supply, but…
Update: I’ve messaged back and forth with the seller, and the person helping linked me to a newer version of the included software that was an absolute breeze to download and install! In the future I think the seller should just send a cheap flash drive with this file instead a disc, but if that doesn’t happen, message the seller. You will be helped! _____________________ Installing the computer application was a huge headache! I had to drop $25 for an optical drive, $10 for some blank DVDs, and fiddle with both the install disc AND a Dropbox link to the install files—sent to me by the seller—and only then was I able to install it. This obviously should have been a much simpler experience… Other than that one gripe, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. The power supply functions beautifully, and while I don’t quite understand how to feed it a square wave using the application just yet, I’m learning! Thanks!

Nice Affordable Slim Power Supply
Perfect for any hobbyist electrical engineer or even professional. I've had for several months now and its definitely worth the money. The accuracy has held up over time as well and I really appreciate the charts on the front. It's not too heavy and doesn't take up as much room as most of the other power supplies I've used. I mostly use it for 24v and 12v devices during product development and have had no issues so far.

Quality Control is missing/terrible quality
The Quality Control is terrible. Bought two times, two returns. First time works for around 3-5 mins without loading, loud bang and device is dead. Try to replace fuse, no joy. Second time - works for 9 mins with test load 12V 1.5 Amps (LED stripe), loud bang and heavy smoke out from device. It still operating, but seems that issue with cooler, which was melted inside the box and produced a heavy smoke. Just for fun will try to order third time. P.S. Third time - 2-3 mins of work and silently became dead again without any load. THREE TIMES, CARL!

Great little thing!
Bought as an upgrade from the internet auction special analog power supplies, as that one was frustrating when the input would drift. It's precise, easy to use (if not intuitive), the software is windows only and is mostly just a display, but it supports pyvisa so you can write your own python code to talk to it and do logging. Fan is noisy if you're pulling more than 50w, so bear that in mind, I might swap mine for a noctua or something similar in future. The quality inside is amazing, selastic on every connector, beefy high-rating capacitors, nice little serial comms board, and the screen print markings on the pcb. seem to indicate this is an owon product on the inside. It's not a lab power supply, don't expect it to be, it's noisy on the output and the polling rate isn't massively quick, about every quarter second from what I can tell. It's not priced like a lab supply though! Perfect for charging batteries, a bit of custom code logging, testing RC equipment, emulating other power supplies, and running small to medium electronics projects.
