A nice Product
I have been using for a week now. I had thyroid surgery on my neck and the scars are improving. I will continue to use this product.

Medical grade silicone gel. Ample 40 gram tube.
We've used silicone products to reduce the appearance of scars. Sometimes it's with new instances, other usages were for old scars. While we prefer silicone strips, silicone gel products actually encourage massaging the target area when applying. With a silicone strip, it's easy to cover/apply the strip. Often, a user will just put it on, like a bandaid, maybe pat it a bit. But, the directions say to massage the area under the silicone covering. So, the act of applying the gel is a massaging action, and should be a strong reminder to massage the gel/target scar area.I have a small scar that I've treated with silicone, and would like to diminish the appearance more. So, will try this silicone gel. Of course results will take time, and conscientious application/treatment. This product stresses that it contains medical grade silicone oil, listed as first item in the ingredients, btw. So, i appreciate that aspect. It does look and feel like quality silicone gel (using prior experience with silicone gel products for comparison). The key to using any silicone scar treatment product is consistent and persistent treatment regimen. So far, the product does meet expectations. After some period of use, I will amend this review if warranted. That would be for incredibly positive results, or for a 'waste of time' instance. I actually expect it to perform along the lines of other quality silicone gels, with a modicum of better appearance but nothing earth shattering. We shall see.So, for now, based on the apparent quality of the silicone gel (and stated ingredients), this scar treatment product receives a 4.25 star rating.

It doesn’t work
Bought this for my surgery scarce, didn't work! Scarce still dark. No changes in my skin.

Not Medical Grade Silicone. it is made in China.
This product did nothing to help my scars. I purchased a medical grade silicone which began working after three days.

Silicone gel
I get keloids, so I'm not sure if this is doing anything for me. Keloids are raised and sometimes darkened scars that itch, and they are really hard to get rid of on your own. If you don't get these types of scars, this might work for you. I use this at least twice a day on small surgical incisions.

Seems to reduce the appearance of new scars
I have acne scars and I can definitely notice that it helps reduce the appearance of new scars. It doesn't help old scars as quickly but the instructions do say it takes a few months for it to reduce the appearance of old scars. I have been using it 3 times a day after I cleanse my face with toner that way it penetrates better. I think it works better than other scar treatments I have used before. It doesn't dry my skin, I actually think it moisturizes it, and since it is a gel you can't even notice you put it on, which is ideal because that way you can apply it more often regardless of where you go.

Nice Gel Option for Scars
This JJ Care Scar Silicone Gel is vey easy to use. It needs to be massaged into the scar - this is helpful for absorption of the gel into the scar. The gel application was easy to use and I like this as an option vs just the adhesive strips. It seems to absorb better.

comfort while healing
My nephew has been using this following ftm top surgery (bilateral mastectomy with nipple grafts). He used the silicone sheets at first, then used this gel with a bit of gauze over tender areas, & is now using to help scars fade, seems to be helping nicely
