URBAN ARMOR GEAR [UAG Compatible with LG V20 Case Plasma Feather-Light Rugged [Ice] Military Drop Tested Phone Case

I already had a decent case for my V20, but it was pretty plain looking so I decided to get the UAG. Not only is it much better looking, but lighter as well and the quality is a step up from what I had. The ports are cut very well and will accommodate any plug in, as far as I can tell. Now of course a $10 case isn't going to be as good as a $30 one, but as good as the UAG is, I'm not sure if it warrants a $30 price tag. However, this is still one of the better cases I've ever had for a phone. I got it used for $20, which I think should be the price anyway, but the overall goodness of the case is hard to beat. UPDATE: 2/13/17 First the good. I dropped my phone for the first time and I'm glad it was in this case! It wasn't a major fall, about 3 feet, but it was on to a hard, unforgiving supermarket floor that would've made the cover come off and the battery pop out at least if it didn't have a case. I didn't hear a sharp "clinking" sound when a something like a phone hits a hard floor, nor the hard solid sound as if a plastic brick hit the floor. No, rather more like a soft blunted sound, like as if the phone was wrapped in rubber. It even seemed to do a little bounce before coming to a stop on it's face. Not only didn't I see a scratch on the phone, but none on the case either! Now the not so good. The volume rocker buttons seem to be a little off because I have to press the every end of the tip of the buttons to make sure that the volume registers correctly. Not a big deal, but somewhat annoying. Overall a really good case, but still not sure if it's worth $30 bucks. However, it did give me peace of mind knowing it's a nice step up in protection over my old $10 case.

This is the second UAG case I have purchased, both for different phones. And both in instances, the case is absolutely wonderful. It feels great in the hand, doesn't add that much weight, but gives it that grip and feel that bodes rugged, svelte, and protected. In both times, the case was a perfect fit for each device with the cut outs being precise, not too big, but not to small to prevent the use of headphones and charging cables. If I had to to give one slight nuance about the UAG case is that I wish the cases for all makes and models in their lineup came in more color options, but that is nitpicking really. The case is awesome, and would highly recommend.

This case is a great mix of toughness and ease of use. I am pretty hard on my phones with regular drops and this case has been the best V20 case I've had so far. Tough and the material its made of has enough grip to make it easy to hold on to and the three ridges on the side are nice. It also is easy to take off for if you have a battery charger/change sim cards often. Best balance of protection and ease of removal I've found .Overall a very tough and well designed case

My second review...This is a great case; durable, thin and very protective on your phone. After having it for over a month, there is this grey film that gets on my hand. I started noticing my hand that I handle the phone, and it was really looking grey or dirty. I thought what am I touching. Then I realized it was the case. Unfortunately, I don't use it anymore because I continue to get this dirty film on my hand. I've tried to wipe down the case but nothing. I hope UAG will contact me and be willing to send me a new one because the case in my opinion is the best on the market. Better than the life proof or otter box. It's because for me, you get the great protection with a case that really feels thin in your hand.

This is the best cell phone case I have ever gotten for my LG V20. It is not too thick to be a nuisance, makes the phone very comfortable to hold and it seems very sturdy and durable. I haven't dropped my phone with this case, but I know my grand-daughter probably has, and so far no issues. It has soft rubbery corners to soften any impact. I use a magnetic holder for my truck, and its thin enough that the magnet still is able to hold it in place. The volume buttons are still easy to use, no issues with that either. The power button is not covered, and the camera lenses are unobstructed. For the price I would recommend this case to anyone.

I normally buy cheap cases for my phones so I can change them out when I want a new look. Was not happy with the cheaper cases for the LG V20. Many were hybrid cases with 2 or more pieces and were difficult to put on and take off. I had read good reviews of the UAG cases, so I decided to give one a try. Very happy I did. I bought the Frost color and it looks very nice. Case was very easy to put on and provides good protection. It adds some thickness to the phone but it not overly bulky. Now that I have this case, I can see that UAG lives up to the hype. I highly recommend this case for the LG V20.

I am a Techie who has every Tech item out normally as soon or sooner than the product hits the shelves. I say this only to say I have had almost every high end phone that has been made since the smart phone was invented. Thus I have used hundreds of cases from various makers. That was until I bought my first UAG case about 3 years ago. Since I have bought and used probably at least 10 and loved each. I have tried a few in-between but always come back to the Greatest Of All Time... The UAG is sleek, light, tough, cool, etc......... Bravo to the makers.. You guys have truely made the best cases ever and I will always be a loyal customer.

November 2025 Update: I bought this case in October 2017. The hard shell is still intact. The rubber parts started breaking off in 2024. Overall, this was worth the price. I dropped the phone several times; phone suffered no damage. I'm upgrading the rating from 3 to 5 stars. I still have the LG V20 although i don't use it as a mobile phone. Original review: I don't like the large 'UAG' branding on the cover. I would have prefered a completely clear cover but wanted to give this one a try. Cover fits snugly. It's easy to put on the phone. I haven't dropped the phone yet, but it's likely it will happen. I'll update this review if/when that happens.

Debating what case to buy for you're new LG V20? The V20 is a big device. Let's be honest its not always easy to hold with 1 hand especially if you're trying to send a message on the go. If you're looking for rugged drop protection you only have a few quality options to choose from. Spigen tough armor, Caseology parallax, Otterbox defender, Poetic revolution and UAG to name the most popular ones. This UAG is the best out of all of them. A combination of good looks, SOLID GRIP (unlike that pathetic excuse of a case from Spigen.. like how do you even hold onto the v20 with the smooth plastic from the tough armor??) as well as great drop protection. The headphone jack cutout is big enough for high end headphones with bigger plugs, the case provides a substantial lip around the rear camera lens and screen providing better protection against scratches, and you get dope styling from UAG. It works fine with glass protectors. Your search is over just get the UAG and a decent glass screen protector and you're set.

Perfect fit for the phone. Was waiting for urban armor gear to launch the case for lg v20 . the ash coloured case is too good . needless to talk about the technology and credentials of an uag case. Got next day delivery by amazon prime
