The Red Badge of Courage (Reader's Library Classic)

It's a classic story of a green soldier becoming a veteran, and a ground-level look at civil war era combat. This edition has a typo, at least in my copy, where chapter 19 is "IX" which is "9"(chp. 9 is also IX in this copy"

This is an excellent low-cost, high value edition of one of the greatest novels of all time. This is a nicely made paperback that's easy on the eyes and budget. I try to read this book every year to stay positive and maintain a good perspective on all the blessings we take for granted each day.

Good description of nervousness about preparing for battle and wondering if one would be courageous enough.
