These are good quality alumninum pans with removable bottoms which make for easy extraction of finished baked goods. The bottom insert actually has a rolled edge which both reinforces it as well as fits into the extruded base that has a small groove to help lock in batters. I plan to use these mostly to bake ;arge hamburger buns and kaiser rolls, so I have no concerns about contents leaking out, and they will work just fine for making fairly large individual cheesecakes, as I sometimes do around the holidays. The base of the pan has an inside diameter of 4.5" while the top diameter is 5". The top rim of the pan also sports a rolled edge. With proper care, these will last indefinitely. Because the pans are tapered, they nest perfectly, so they only take up 5" of shelf space (25 sq.in.). I purchased a total of ten pans and the stack of ten is about 6" tall. This compares favorable with the really nice set of12 4" stainless steel pans I also bought here on Amazon for the purpose of baking buns. Those pans have perfectly straight sides, so they can only be stacked four-high (and are not nested at all like these), which means they take up 12" of shelf space (48 sq.in.) -- or about twice as much as these aluminum pans. You'll see what I mean in the photo accompanying this review.

These are the perfect size to make for my husband and I. I can make the little cakes in advance and freeze them. Pop one out and defrost it and instant desert for he and I. They also make great satellite cakes around a larger cake. The pop out bottom make getting cakes out very easy. Clean up is very easy as well.

Bought these to make a mini cake for my son’s first birthday. Worked great! Will be using these again for desserts suited for a small family of 3.

These are worth the money. Have been using them over a year. Cakes are easy to release from the pan. Cleaning is a bit annoying as there is a crease that's a bit harder to clean - use a tooth pick. Other than that it's very durable and works well.

They weren't like my Fat Daddio pans, but they are a good quality for the price. I wasn't sure about the way the bottom fits and thought it might leak, but they have done very well. Cakes remove easily and clean up is also easy.

The product information says these are dishwasher safe. They are NOT dishwasher safe. I put them on the top rack and now they are ruined.

Easy to clean, easy to remove the cake. Has a dry feel to the metal so I coat with shortening before adding batter.

So I bought 4 sets of these to make small bread rolls. 3 sets had all 5 rings and the bottoms, but one set had 5 rings and only 4 bottoms. I contacted the seller and they said contact Amazon. Amazon will just tell me to return it but I did not realize the problem till the bread was on the first rise so I went ahead and the 19 that I did have all the parts for. Used so can’t return. So I have no uses of that one with no bottom. They also really stick together if u pile them. Barely can get them apart. I did figure out if I put 1/4 piece of paper towel between each they com apart easy. So they work really good for small loafs (5 inch buns) but you may not get all the pieces.

These are excellent for baking mini cakes!
