Love the storage bag. I am climbs and have cut myself a couple times closing and revealing the blade. But it is so nice and compact ...really really sharp too. Came with replacement blades also

I have been using a sharp serrated knife to score my sourdough and finally broke down and bought this lame. No regrets! It fits my hand nicely and slips beautifully though my bread dough. I had retarded my boule in the fridge overnight which does make for easier scoring but I'm sure this lame will perform well either way. I have used a lame with razor blade on a coffee stir stick and one which I also purchased here that had the usual longer handle but was one use only. Nothing beats this bread lame cutter so far.

This was exactly as described/pictured. The blade is sharp. The handle is easy to maneuver. The instructions for blade replacement are helpful and well-written. The case is wonderful and very high quality. I feel better about storage having the case. Love that it also came with so many replacement blades.

so far I have only used it once, better than my sharpened knifeit was easy to assemble and am glad of the wee pouch cos this lady is accident prone

As a beginner sourdough bread baker,I wanted a lame that wad easier to use for scoring and designing my loaves that what I was using. This lame is easy to set-up and the blades are nice and sharp. I couldn't ask for more in my learning to bake sourdough bread adventure!
