replaced my MT node from a 5.8 dbi with this 8dbi and right off the bat, instant difference. i live in a relatively flat area, so i high DBI antenna would be worth it. i wasn't able to hit serval nodes that were about 12 miles away, swapped out the antennas and now i have reliable traceroutes. SWR on my nano vna was 1.12 on longfast frequency of 906mhz.

sucessfully send direct messages to my base at home 6 to 7 miles with 3 to 4 hops. picks up alot of nodes has worked well for meshtastic. will be repurposing maybe for meshcore once we get that running in my area.

Update !! Seller worked it out with me. Actually very respectable for Amazon seller and I’m honestly impressed. That being said you may have mixed results with these. The one I got was a bit high on SWR for the US 906mhz band but others also have had good luck with them. Either way this is a reputable seller so they’ll treat you right.

Great SWR on the 900-930 MHz from my NanoVNA. We'll see if it improves my MeshCore node's reach. Came with a really long cable, which I'm really happy about, but I'll need to figure out what to do with the length. Update: Don't omit the RP-SMA to SMA-Male adapter! It won't work with most radios without it! The feedline is pretty great quality and allowed me to re-arrange the hardware further from the antenna mast. Great buy so far.

I literally have this antenna laying across my window and it’s made a big difference. I’m sure once we thaw out and I get it outside. It’ll be even better ! looking outside. It’s gonna be a while lol , it came just like it was pictured came with everything pictured .

I purchased this antenna for my STATION G2 Meshtastic. I tested the tuning of the antenna with a Seesii NanoVna SAA-2N VNA, and the tuning is right on 915Mhz. With the stock antenna that came with the G2, I was not receiving many nodes and every message that I sent = "timeout". With this antenna, the STATION G2 recorded +100 nodes now. If there are others out there with a STATION G2, it is important to know, that unless you have a 7-18vdc power supply for your G2, you are not transmitting the 1-watt. The STATION G2 has 3 LED lights = LV/PA/HV. If the PA light is not LIT, your Power Amplifier is not transmitting 1-Watt. And for all the HAM General Licensed operators, you can use the python modules and up your power to 5 watts in licensed mode = 35DBi. Since I have installed this antenna, used the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus 18vdc USB-C power jack, and configured the wattage to 35dbi, I no longer get timed out messages and I have several 1-hop returns from other Meshtastic nodes.

My son wanted this for his birthday. Not sure why. Spent $300 on everything he needed. He’s making 3 cents a week lol. Spending more money on electricity. I probably should have done the research to see what exactly it is. But it does what it’s supposed to.

The antenna kit is high quality and great value as a complete kit for your IoT application or helium mining (increase your witnesses!). Ultimately I needed a 15dBi antenna, but the seller was fantastic to work with.
