Easy to plant but it never came up despite lots of rain & sunshine moderate temps

I have used this stuff for years. The deer always end up in it at the end of the day. I have this planted in two food plots. One of them has little rises all across it. The clover part grows thick down in the valleys, and the alfalfa and chicory are more on the sides and tops of the rises. One thing - make sure that your soil pH is 6.5 or higher before you plant any alfalfa. I learned that the hard way. The first time I planted Alfa Rack, it grew slow. I called Whitetail Institute, and a live person actually answered the phone! They helped me figure out what was wrong. I ran a soil test, and pH was low. Corrected that and never had another problem after planting it.

Well, since living in the western parts of the country. There wasn’t a much reviews on how these products worked for varieties of deer like Blacktail. This type of alfalfa works great, I’ve ised the Clover, Fusion, Chicmagnet and Alfarack plus. All seeds have established well! Broadcast seeding works good but if you want the best germination a seeder will be needed. The more contact these seeds get the better and faster they grow. I put a water system on mine and it’s showing a huge improvement in growth.. I’m talking about a 4” difference from watering. Very durable seeds, and the customer service at Whitetail Institute are par none. Great product you won’t be disappointed

Plot is about 40 days old. Not as high as the others but we got big rain today.

Seems like a good mixture, barley and of the alfalfa came up, could be my ph level though

Seed is outstanding and grows well the deer wait in line just waiting for it to grow.
