Just what I needed

I purchased this alongside a bike fork crown race setting tool when needing to install crown races on a new suspension fork, it suggested a 16 to 24oz rubber mallet although I feel it wouldn't have worked as well as this 45oz dead blow hammer, it worked well & felt sturdy, the crown race needed a good amount of force so it was a good demonstration of its durability.

Hammer is good and solid and I see it lasting a couple years with daily use. Can't beat it at the price point. The rubber handle grip is a 2 piece and after a couple good whacks it was already slipping off. Little bit of loctite and all is well.

I wanted to wait until I was able to put this 3 pound hammer to use before a review, having only used it for light tasks the first few months of ownership. My first impressions were positive with a fit and feel equal to or above that of similarly priced, big box competition. The handle size and grip fell good in the hand a little bit of moisture doesn't give you any problems. The plastic it is constructed of feels durable and not too cheap to the touch and swings provide solid blows. The opportunity to really swing with it came two months ago when replacing the rotors of a rusty SUV. The hammer handily handled repeated blows against hard, immovable objects. As the blows proceeded and became less discriminate, there were surely several that glanced the jagged or sharp edge of something or another. The hammer now has some dings and scratches but nothing that impacts my confidence in the tool. After months more of light use, it continues on. I never went full-on swings with it, and I don't expect it to last forever, but it does the job its price promises and more. I would consider this brand again for similar purchases.

For the price, this was a surprsingly well-made dead blow hammer. You won't go wrong with this one. Worked just fine for removing some disc brake rotors on a brake job.

I use this for strength training wrist strength training. Its length makes the weight at the end more challenging. I got this to make the jump from a 2lb hammer A similar fitness hammer would be more expensive

Used this to loosen up the pesky drain bolt that some half-witt over torqued on my car. Now that I have this, I'll never go back to that garage.
