Does the camera make multipage pdf files?

Dear Customer, Thanks for contacting AVer. No, U50 Document Camera does not make pdf files. It makes jpeg files. Then you can convert it to pdf file. Thanks. AVer Tech Support

How tall is the neck? From how high up can the camera be placed?

The neck is approximately 24 inches total but 19-20 inches from the bottom of the unit up to the camera itself. This would be with the neck curved and the camera pointing down. Super device!

Does this projector need software to be loaded onto the computer? If so, is that software included?

Sorry, it was about a year ago that we got the digital projector and it is attached to a school computer (I'm at home), but as memory serves, there may be some software that one has to install to work with the projector, but I know that everything we needed was included with the projector when we got it. It works like a charm!
