10 Sheets 10 mil Mylar Sheet 12 x 12 inch PET Blank Stencil Making Sheet for Cricut, Silhouette, Gyro-Cut Tool Template Material (10 mil)

It is hard plastic sheet and not transparent too. If you are going to buy it to cut stencil by your self with stencil knife. Please don't go for it. Very difficult to cut stencils in this sheet by hand. May be by it is good for laser machine.

I can only speak to using these mylar sheets to cut stencils by hand with a scalpel. They worked well. 7.5 mil seems to be the right weight to minimize the number of passes required to cut through the plastic while maintaining enough strength to stand up to regular use. I was worried that the high-gloss finish would cause the scalpel to slip, but this didn't prove to be the the case. The product is competitively priced. I would buy these again.

Instead of making stencils, I’m using these milky white translucent Mylar sheets as light diffusers for my light box woodcutting project. It works great! The thickness and the stiffness of the sheet is perfect for my needs. The sheets weren’t expensive, and they were provided at the very size I used for my project, which was convenient. These sheets let some light through, and they can easily be used as stencils to trace over something with.

Is a good product but turned out to not be what I needed.

These are awesome. Maxed out the pressure on my cricut explore air 2 and it cuts perfectly. I love using them for face paint stencils, it's the perfect weight for that. I can't wait to use them for other projects as well!
