Follow the instructions in the YouTube video and installation will be a breeze.Clean the tread thoroughly before applying else any grease or dirt will get caught under the film. Also, remove the backing as you go, do not peal the whole backing off and then expect a perfect installation. Uncover approximately 5 cms from the end, stick it down and make sure it is straight by using a masking tape guide line, then as you remove the backing paper use the supplied roller to stick down the remaining, slowly as you go.Finally, take your time, this is not a 5 minute job on a standard 15 stair staircase, took me 2 1/2 hours. But, they are almost not noticeable but are performing well.I will be back if I see any short term degradation of the product, but for now very pleased.
