Colour was lighter than expected.
I was replacing a very comfortable olive/tan coloured suede Clarkes shoe that I loved to the point they are beyond repair. Very pleased with the design and shape of the boot, I love the comfort and casual look suede provides but I was a wee bit disappointed in the colour as it was described as mid tan, it is more a light tan. I considered sending them back but wore them yesterday for the first and they do the job rightly. I prefer my shoes with a bit of wear and I imagine they will darken down a bit. Clarkes provide quality and these were great value.

Very nice
I have not had a chance to try both shoes on due to a healing foot injury however I look forward to doing just that asap when my injury heals however they look very nice and well made from a respected co.

Different fits on heel
First impression, ok for the money. On inspection shoes shoes made to sell at this lower price and never for retail at 90 pounds plus. The materials used were however of decent quality. What actually made me decide to send these boots back was the fit, particularly around the heel area. This was different on both boots. The left heel area was way too big as though a different shoe last had been used, creating a very sloppy fit. It seemed to me that this was a copy of a more expensive classic boot, which would have been more than acceptable at this price, if the fit had been the same for both boots.

I would not recommend this Boot appearance ok, style good, But the overall most important factor is that the boot is NOT comfortable and gives your foot a boxy feeling and does NOT support your foot with balance.

belle, comode, e non le ho pagate molto. Forse la suola un pochino rigida, non come le suole in para di 30 anni fa, ma forse era un altro modello. Originali? non lo so, ma se le vendono in negozio così, le prendo per buone. L'unica nota negativa sono i lacci troppo corti. Ma è sufficiente per abbassare il voto?
