APF Thixotroph ic Fluoride Gel (Grape)

Absolutely hated getting this stuff at the dentist growing up. But since starting medication that gives me dry mouth/puffy gums this stuff is a lifesaver for me today. Trying to use it sparingly as needed as it has rather high fluoride content.The grape flavor is ok, a little on the tart side. I put some in a Styrofoam disposable tray and bite into it for at least 60 seconds, a bit longer if my teeth are achey/sensitive. It has a bitter aftertaste and you may have the urge to rinse but step away from the sink, you need to wait 30 minutes before eating, drinking or rinsing. I try to do the treatment right before bed to give this stuff time to truly work its magic.I had my bi-anual checkup/cleaning the other day which is usually pretty rough. But my hygienist complimented me on my home care for a change so I think its working 😊
