Q: How much weight can it hold? I am building a wire grid catio and I want to hang ledges in various spots for my cats who are 9 and 11 pounds

I think it would depend on the piece you’re hanging it on. If you’re screwed into the studs with that support piece you may be okay. The heaviest I’ve put on mine is about 2 lbs. it’s a tad flexible so 9-11 lbs might be a bit much.

Q: Would this work hanging from a wire pantry shelf?

It's mostly designed for wire grid walls like you might see in stores, but if the brackets that attach your wire shelf to the pantry wall leaves a lil space between the wall and the wire, you might be able to fit it in there to use it
