Nice DMR mobile
Pros: it's an extremely small radio and will fit almost anywhere, DMR works well on repeaters while mobile. Mic has magnetic back so traditional mic hook is not needed. Cons: programming is a little difficult to learn at first but once you get the hang of it, it's not to bad. You have to crank the audio up pretty loud to hear while mobile, but does not distort to bad. Over all: I would recommend this radio and definitely would but again. Radioddity had a great US based support and stand by their products. You also have amazon return if it's not for you so there is no risk. Just do it, lol

Great radio but had some snags with the order
I found the radio to be very good, easy to program/operate, especially using the alternative CPEditor by David Bell. Radio is very compact with a small screen. I don't have it installed in my vehicle yet, but I'm wondering how well I'll be able to see the rather small display. I've owned Radioddity items in the past and have always had good luck with them, and the DB25-D is no exception. Overall, I'm very satisfied.Snag with original order: When I received the original package, I found several items missing (including the radio itself) and other items were obviously used. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement at no cost as well as a prepaid return shipping label to return the original package. This is the only reason I gave four stars. The radio itself is five stars.

Fast issue resolution
Radio is dual band unit but the VHF side failed, no power output. I contacted the Radioddity Service Support team via email and they reply promptly. Irene, the service representative was excellent and followed up quickly and sent a prepaid label and a RMA number and I shipped the radio back in exchange for a new replacement radio. Irene was very attentive and professional and turned the situation from frustration with a defective radio to a pleasant and easy exchange to a new radio, thank you Irene and thanks to the Radioddity service support team

I really wanted this to be a winner...
Despite the reviews being wishy washy I took a risk on this thing. Got the unit, looked like the box was clean and hadn't been touched...and that's where things get interesting...Unit arrived with just the cigarette light adapter, which...most brand new vehicles (including mine) don't have cigarette lighters anymore. The unit was supposed to come with a power cable, it didn't.The unit when initially connected and the codeplug downloaded CLEARLY had belonged to someone else. There were tons of groups, contacts, and frequencies set on it...so that was another clue. Despite all my best efforts, I couldn't get many settings to stick. The saddest thing of all, and what's causing the return is that the squelch even at the lowest setting won't break for my main repeater network's flagship channel. If you key up locally on another radio...squelch breaks...but it's choppy...when standing a few feet away. This is one of those times when I went cheap and got exactly what I paid for. I'm going to have to suck it up and get an Alinco DR-MD520 or something similar as a replacement for this little guy since it just didn't cut it.

seemed good for a few days
I got this, installed a codeplug from scratch, added one local repeater and setup an analog one, then did the local parrot and it sounded fine(took a few good hard hours of figuring lol) but all good. put a new dual band antenna on the truck I used previously, made sure the SWR was good and installed it with all new from amazon connectors and coax. after a day the parrot sounded like it was getting interference, so spent the day troubleshooting it to the tune of back in my shack under good antenna powerful supply and great SWR and it sounds terrible on playback. My handheld sounded great here in the same room with a duck antenna! so off to return it goes. wish it was better news.

Great service from Irene!
Purchased the radio a little over a year ago, and unfortunately i went to work one morning and it wouldn’t turn on. Irene was quick to respond and get a replacement sent! These have an 18 month warranty that is no hassle at all! Radioddity stands behind their products unlike alot of other companies today. Replacement is working great, customer for life. You wont regret it. Thanks Irene!

Cable programacion

Great support - friendly people - replacement device arrived only a few days later!
Had some unusual software problems with my Radioddity DB 25 D, had contact with the very friendly Irene from Radioddity. She sent me a replacement only a few days later! Before that the great support team helped me with some other computer questions, because I was pretty new to digital radio communication. For me the support from this company was the best I have ever seen. The DB 25 will not be the last radio I buy from them, I can recommend the company to every radio amateur!

Kleiner Leistungszwerg
