Thread Protector for 5/8x24 Thread (2 Pack)

Only tried one of the two - it fit perfectly. Using to protect threads on a thread adapter being used on browning rifle and the size is comparable to the adapter. Do recommend for this purpose.

Threaded 6.5 Creedmore just fine! Protects threads when suppressor is not in use! Very well built!

Finish is nice and sort or nice big round tactile feel, BUT on the standard AR barrel threading, when threaded all the way down to the barrel shoulder, they protect the threads just fine, BUT the leave the front of the barrel, muzzle crown flush with the end of the thread protector, thereby making it too easy to damage the muzzle itself. Shorter threaded portion? It should work fine. Have some sort of spacer or jam nut? That would work too. I think it’d be fine for some applications but not for safely transporting a 5/8 x 24 AR barrel without risking damage, which is what most folks are buying this for.

Bought these to use until my muzzle break comes in. Both thread protectors had rough threads that hung up on my barrel. Had to run a tap through them. Quality items? No. Worth it? For me, yes.

I lost the thread protector to my 6.5 Creed rifle at the range while swapping out different cans and this was an excellent replacement for it. Fits like a glove.
