Does it come with adhesive?

It doesn't come with a bottle of adhesive like in all of the Youtube videos. I installed it just by removing the plastic over the sticky edges, and it appears to be holding, though I haven't really used it yet. So, maybe the adhesive in the videos isn't needed?
