Very poor quality, cheap plastic

This is a set that your kid can play with *by themselves* for 1/2 hour straight. Which should be reason enough for any parent to buy, but also:- good challenge level for the transformation of car to robot: lots of things to twist, turn, push, pull. perfect for small motoric skills of your young one!- having all 4 means your kids (2 year old and 4 year old in my case) share and play together a rescue scenario- quality is medium-high. Heli's hands keep coming off in my set, but they are really easy to put back on, so really not a problem. If anything, I'm impressed that NOTHING BROKE after a month of a very active play!! This is seriously impressive.- oh, and the robots can actually stand on their feet and are quite well balanced, providing for even more engaging play. Fun! I was impressed as an adult. :D

The good: These are such an accurate depiction of the characters and my son was so thrilled to get them. He plays with these and the diecasts every day and loves both. He enjoys these because they're larger and they transform just as the characters do on the show.The bad: These do not transform as easily as my children would like. I have to be the one to do it because otherwise the arms and legs are constantly popping off, as are Helly's hands. Some pieces are easier to re-attach than others. Some, like Helly's arms and hands are such a huge pain to put back together because they attach to a swiveling piece inside. The pieces swivel to allow the limbs to close back up or transform into standing position. I appreciate that they swivel and can be put back together rather than some toys which are too rigid and then pieces get broken, but as I said they do come off rather easily and are not so easily put back together. I feel this may be a better gift for children a bit older, say 6 or 7, becauase of this. However my kids do still enjoy them very much despite their (and my) frustration with limbs coming off.

My son got this pack for his 3rd birthday but the box arrived with only 1 figure (the blue poli). The quality, size, and ease to transform were all consistent with what I would hope for in a toddler toy. My son was really bummed when he opened the package to find 3/4 of his gift missing. Amazon fulfillment offered for us to return the item for a replacement...which I do appreciate however I can’t take the toy from my son now. Next option is to get a refund and keep the 1 poli figure. We’re all disappointed in the circumstance.*******UPDATED********Received full refund within 12 hrs of advising Amazon of issue. Re-ordered item. Prime shipping got us the reorder in 2 days and my son is SO Happy. Quality, ease of use, size —- all super.
