Great product
Although this pan comes ready seasoned I done the process again for my own peace of mind.I have used the pan many times since and it has been faultless even cooking fried eggs with only a misting of rapeseed oil with zero sticking.The heat distribution is very even without any noticeable hotspots and yes it does get better with age.I clean it in hot water without any soap and this is very important I then put in back on the heat to dry out and let it cool.Do not plunge it in cool water.Finally i apply a very light misting of rapeseed oil and remove excess with a paper towel before putting away.If you do this it won’t rust.After a bit of use it will form a very good non stick surface and if cared for will last for years

Value of money - good quality
Only used it twice, the heat distribution is great, the skillet is pre-oiled and ready to use. Both times I used it was pretty nice, easy to cook and easy to clean.Great plus is the seller's instructions to take care of it.

Good in the end, but needs a lot of work before use
It's a nice, heavy product with a big drawback - as shipped it isn't non-stick. The surface is very rough and even with a good amount of oil, the eggs I cooked stuck to it like glue. But, it is very robust and after an hour or so with wet-or-dry paper I'd smoothed the cooking surface and after a few re-seasonings, it works fine.

My Tarte Tatins are an absolute hit!
It's a cast iron pan. Good value, and does an excellent job, and is easy to clean. Make sure you dry it quickly or, as most cast iron pans, it will gather a little rust (if so, it can easily be scrubbed off before using the pan).

Poor quality
Very course, the surface is un-finished from casting so is very rough. Food will stick to this.May be called 'Australian Kitchen' but its 100% Chinese.

Too heavy to lift!
I originally bought this pan for the bbq but when I received it I decided it was too heavy. I did not try it out for cooking & returned to seller. On the plus side it looked good & was well made.
