I make a green tea recipe that calls for ginseng extract. I purchased this based on the reviews. I only use 1/4tsp in a 8 cup recipe. I don't notice the taste. It's not over powering. Never took it by itself so can't say if the taste is bad on its own. I recommend this product. Thought it was a great price for the amount you get.

I took the time to actually write a review for this because I just took my first dropperful and within less than a minute I now feel more awake, alert, and mentally sharp than I have in MONTHS. I regularly take ginseng tinctures and they did not work this well. As a doctoral student writing my dissertation, this is tremendously helpful.

Doesn't taste too bad. I'll take 3 or 4 droppers full, usually with some liquid B before I head to the gym. I feel like I might get a small surge of energy, though nothing dramatic. Could be placebo. Haven't noticed any side effects, though.
