This is a very nice instrument. It looks exactly like the image, and it’s stayed that way for the weeks I’ve used it. I’ve played the clarinet, bass clarinet, cymbals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele, and now I can add the harp to my arsenal. I’ve had no problems with this instrument except for tuning it. Tuning this harp is a very delicate procedure, where you have to move the tuning wrench extremely slow. When removing the wrench you have to remove it very carefully because the slightest bump will make the string go way back out of tune. Tuning is difficult and it does take a while, but I think it’s absolutely worth it. The sound is amazing, it’s easy to hold, easy to play, and I think, even with the difficult tuning, this is a great beginner instrument.

I've never owned or even played a harp before, but this harp is exactly as described. It is very beautiful and well made. It gets a bit frustrating, trying to keep it tuned, but that is to be expected with a new stringed instrument. My only complaint is, it would be nice to have a more sturdy carrying case.

Nice looking and very easy to use. A couple of strings are not easy to tune, and often they need to be turned.

Arrived with a broken string so I had to restring that one first. Difficult turning, as soon as I move to the next string the previous ones are back out. I read in some reviews that this sometimes happens but gets better over several turnings. I'll tune it daily and hopefully it will settle. The get to know you book has the music by number but my lyre is labeled by note. Found a strip in the box that has numbers, but you have to cut them apart before you can apply them.

Very beautifully crafted instrument with a lovely sound. Easy to break a string while tuning, so beware. Included extra strings are a nice plus. Recommend slowly tightening strings over a period of a few days for initial tuning...

Sadly, this arrived so beautifully made, but broke the first week we had it. My daughter actually saved her own money to purchase it - she took such good care of it - so it's really too bad it broke - she was devastated.

Took awhile to tune and didn’t hold for very long. Plugged it into my amp and couldn’t keep it quiet. Every time I moved the harp while plugged in…snap, crackle, pop!…..Returned to Amazon.
