Catstudio Texas Hand Embroidered Decorative Throw Pillow

The pillow is expensive but if you consider it "art" more than decor the price tag makes sense. It's obvious the craftmanship is quality. It's a nice gift for someone that really doesn't need anything because they can buy whatever they need for themselves, but wouldn't think to buy this, which is what I did. I want to also give huge props to Amazon for my experience with my order. There was an unforeseen delay in my shipment, and I was VERY upset and felt really let down when I found out. Fortunately it was easy to get a call from Amazon, I did not have to wait or get switched to multiple departments, and as soon as they heard what happened they agreed to make it right and offered a generous comprise that was honestly more than I expected, and what I do believe was fair. A lot of places don't stand by their obligations or when they do it's in show only but doesn't really make up for the disappointment, I think Amazon did everything in their power to meet their obligations and made up for it when they couldn't, in business it's not about the mistake you make its about how you respond to it, and they responded right.

We have been on a decorative pillow hunt for a while in order to refresh the living room. We found a couple online, a couple more at a local discounter. But nothing caught our attention like this one when we discovered it on Amazon and then did more research at Catstudio. True, it seemed a bit pricey (for us anyway) but we just had to go for it as the colors seemed so vibrant and the details lively. We purchased this Los Angeles rendition and also the California. Frankly, I was hesitant and thought perhaps we had taken too much of a risk. The pillows arrived today and we were thrilled. They are even more charming and appealing than we had hoped. Also, unlike some pillows advertised at a certain size but then measuring less than that when they show up, these pillows are a FULL 19". I am a native of SoCal so the two pillows have special meaning to me but I am looking at several of their other offerings to expand the horizons of our household and imagination.

I first saw this Texas pillow while in Wyoming and knew I had to have it. It is the same size and quality as the one I saw. Just a gorgeous pillow with unbelievable embroidery completely covering ALL of Texas finest.

Very soft pillow with nice cotton feel. Looks good everywhere with its adorable New York stitching. These pillows last a very long time.

Very nice size pillow, nicely stuffed, soft embroidery is very nice not completely sure it is actually hand done appears to be more machine embroidered but still a very nice quality. A bit pricey but makes a lovely gift.

I had this on my list for the longest time. I just couldn't justify the money on a pillow. I know it's hand embroidered but still...anyway,buy it. It;s well made and perfect if your a Pittsburgher! Even my husband said it looked great.
