Dog Carrier Backpack for Small Dogs, Pet Carrier Front Backpack, Safety Interior Rope Buckle, Solid Padding Bottom and Adjustable Waist Strap for Added Support (Blue)

I received this bag the other day and honestly expected it to go either way with my 5 lb. poodle who is very spoiled and picky, but she took to it quickly and seems to enjoy falling asleep in it while out on our walks that are meant to be exercise for both of us. To review quality of the bag: Over all it looks nice and I don't see any visible flaws. The shoulder straps are nicely padded. There are two different zippers- one to open the bag and as my husband says "stuff the dog in". The second zipper opens a smaller opening for the dog to stick his/her head out. The design of the second opening could use a little more thought. It seems like its a little higher up than might be naturally comfortable for a small dog. Think rolling down the car window just enough for them to crane their head UP to get fresh air but not at natural standing height. My dog has to stretch her neck and sit straight up to hang out at the second opening. She has since figured out that if she sticks her front leg out she can pull the opening down a little bit to help. I'm not sure what she will do if she wants relax and snuggle in. The bag does seem fairly breathable, although if you zip up the smaller opening it may get pretty stuffy in there. My dog doesn't mind sleeping under the blankets all night so I would imagine this will be ok. The straps that hold the bag in place for front position fit around me but its snug... Im a size 16. Also the bottom of the bag seems to tip down a bit in the front position. Wearing it on my back feels, looks, and appears to be the most comfortable all the way around for both the spoiled pooch and I. There isn't a lot of room in there for my toy poodle either... so perhaps I should have gone with something a little bigger? But all in all I am looking forward to using this this summer. Still worried about it being a bit hot and stuffy. Also not any real useable place to stuff dog supplies like water, snacks, etc. The pockets on the side are angled forward and are rather small. I can see stuff falling out of it quickly.

The material is good quality. I purchased a similar bag before and it tore apart before I could use it. This bag has been very sturdy. My puppy is almost 5lbs; his estimated weight is 10-11lbs. He has tons of room and loves the bag. This bag saves, because he becomes easily tired on walks and it frees me from carrying him.

I don't know how they show a dog that big in the picture. I have a 7.5 lb Maltipoo & he was absolutely cramped in it. It's really nothing more than one of the cinchbags that you could buy at Target or something, the ones that kids use for throwing their waterbottles or whatever in for sports. Not only was it small, but after seeing it, I was nervous to even carry him in it because it didn't feel sturdy enough. I ended up returning it & buying another one that was more expensive, but much better quality.

I can't say enough how much I love this bag. Having both hands free is such a treat! I will say, my poodle loves sitting in this bag as long as the flap is open as pictured. She will have a fit if I close it up. I would too considering they have very limited visibility when the backpack is zipped up. It also would have been nice if the bottom of the backpack had some support so your pet can comfortably sit or lay down, but it doesn't (or least an insert for the bottom didnt come with mine). But, nothing is cuter than her lil head poking out of the colorful bag and everyone notices!

My dog absolutely loves this bag! She is about 5 lbs and fits in it perfectly. She would probably stay in it all day if she could. The bag itself is great quality, and it has a hard bottom so the dogs won't sink in the bag. And it's super cute.

Cute but had to return. My baby weight was 7 lbs and she kept slipping out. Didnt feel secure as it doesnt have the belt to hold around your waist. Only slipped over my arms. Easy return tho.

The quality of the bag seems really good. I'm returning it so I am not sure how long it will actually hold up under use. The 2 pockets on the side are small and at a bad angle so they're pretty much useless except for maybe some treats or poop bags. A water bottle will just fall out of the pocket, given the angle of how they are situated on the bag. There is no ventilation in the bag other than the hole where the dog sticks out its head. The product is much smaller than it appears in the picture and description. The support mat on the floor of the bag is completely ineffective and does not support 10lbs of weight. My 10lb dog barely fits in the bag, was unable to turn around and get comfortable, and could not get in it by herself / without me helping her and kept going back to get in her old bag (which is falling apart from so much use over 1.5yrs). If you have a six pound dog, this might be perfect for it. However, anything over that might be pushing it as far as comfort goes. Definitely not suitable for a 10lb dog.

I love this pet carrier! Its not only pretty and durable, its also so convenient. My 5 lb chihuahua fits perfectly inside with room for his comfort. I just wish the side pockets were bigger to keep a water bottle, leash, bowl, snacks, etc. My dog took to it immediately because he is used to jumping into a large purse or tote when I take him around. He liked being carried on someone's back like that of my niece shown in the picture. Now he goes with my on my daily walks...when he gets tired I don't have to carry him in my arms. Again, just wish there was a pocket for little items for our walks - for at least small water bottle and a bowl.
