A must buy for CTS.
10 out of 10 This product helps me function while i work around the house. It keeps my wrist and thumb stable. Being able to work through the pain is something I have to do. On the other hand with this brace I don't feel pain and I don't feel restricted. Is been through the wash and still holds up.

So great!
I was buying this brace to replace one I had purchased at the drugstore. The one I had before (for comparison information) was too tight around my thumb. It had an adjustable strap, but the elastic underneath it was too tight and caused circulation issues. The elastic was also thick and had ridges so it irritated my skin after only a short time of use. This brace is so much better. The elastic under the adjustable strap is much looser. The fit is completely adjustable. The elastic used is also a very thin, smooth elastic that feels more like a thin satin ribbon. No irritation at all, and no circulation problems. The thumb portion is also much more structured than my old brace. It holds my thumb in the proper position without having to tighten around my thumb excessively. Considering the structure, it is fairly lightweight and comfortable. This is mostly due to the face that it is cut to cover as little of the hand as possible. Another bonus in my book. So far I have only had issues with my right thumb (do to a repetitive motion in a hobby that uses very small, and constant repetitive motions) so I have not needed it for my other hand, but I love that this gove is reversible. If anybody else needs it, or whatever, I don't have to buy a "left handed brace". I wasn't sure if this would make the fit weird, but it doesn't. I'm very glad I took the plunge and tried this brace out. I figured they were all basically the same. I was wrong. This brace has already helped my hand after only a few hours of wear. Normally it's days before I see any improvement and I have a numb thumb because of the circulation problems caused by the other brace. I can not wear any brace while I'm doing my hobby, so it's important that it is beneficial even if I can only wear it at night or for a few hours a day. This one is great!

comfortable enough to sleep with it on
unobtrusive and does the job: immobilizes my thumb. I suffer joint pain and found this to help... mind you...help, not cure. Also, if you use an ointment like Capzacin, the glove isolates the cream from rubbing off on other parts of your skin. I've noticed a reduction in swelling that I wasn't previously aware of. I'll certainly continue to incorporate the glove in my nightly, even daily, routines

Kinda works for synovitis
Ok, I was diagnosed with De' Quervains synovitis due to an injury and my extensor pollicis brevis and extensor pollicis longus are hurting. Those are the tendons of the muscles of the thumb that help the thumb extend. My pain scale every morning varies from 3/10 to 8/10. Sometimes if I do certain things, like cooking, or opening the door, etc, my thumb hurts soooo bad! I already went to the doctor's office and got a shot but it doesn't help after a few weeks. This thumb splint keeps my thumb/wrist stable while sleeping, so my thumb will not "move" while I'm sleeping. Doctors do not know for sure how people get Quervain's tenosynovitis. But it can result from: -A direct blow to the thumb -Gaming -Hobbies like gardening or racket sports -Inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis -Overuse -Repetitive workplace tasks.. For me, I injured it by hyperextending my thumb for 8 hours continuously while sleeping in a weird position. And then lifting heavy stuff later... I have been using this hand brace for more than a month now and it kinda helps me reduce the pain scale from 8/10 to kinda 2 or 3/10. De Quervain's is kinda like chronic pain, I've been having this pain for more than 7 months now. During the day, it doesn't hurt that much, but it just depends on what I'm doing. Good luck to me, y'all.! I'll continue using this splint and see how it can help me in the long term since I don't want to have surgery.

Would definitely buy again
I got this for mommy wrist after I had already bought another brand (Mueller). I didn't like the other brand so I tried this. This is way better. The Velcro actually stays on and doesn't budge except when you want to take it off then it comes off fairly easily. The design is great because it gives you more movement of your other 4 fingers. You only really have to take the wrist Velcro off to slide your hand on/off. I really like this because it means I only have to adjust one Velcro instead of 3 like other models. It is also surprisingly more secure than the other 3 Velcro model I have too. Your thumb doesn't move as much which is important with healing the injury you got this for. And of course it is comfortable! Definitely a must for something you wear all day and/or all night. I have only been wearing it on my left hand because my left is the worse one, but it can be worn on both hands. I do appreciate the engineering that went into this because it also has a small piece of Velcro that attaches at the beginning while you're securing the wrist part which keeps it in place, removing any frustration with putting this on. I've been wearing it for weeks and honestly don't know why I haven't bought another one. (I have mommy wrist in both wrists) I got the small/medium even though I was on the higher end on the measurements and it fits well. The wrist Velcro doesn't go completely over the grippy part, but it's not an issue at all. It seems like the small/medium is more women sized and large size is for men. But I'd recommend measuring yourself just to be sure.

A big thumbs up!
I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (also neuropathy, lupus and Sjogrens). Here's what I like and appreciate about this brace, which I bought for each hand. First, it's lightweight and supportive without being intrusive. If need be, I can sleep with these on without much distress or discomfort. Like most people with RA, I like my limbs and digits free when I sleep, if at all possible. It doesn't only support my thumb joint, which gets incredibly painful, it's a great wrist brace; it's not nearly as cumbersome as any other wrist brace I've had. When I bought it, it wasn't for my wrist, so I was pleasantly surprised by this. I can even crochet with these on, which was an even bigger surprise! I like that most of my hand and fingers are free while it protects the specific joints I got it for. Being that it's lightweight with neoprene, I don't sweat beneath it, even when I'm so bundled up or under an electric blanket. It's comfortable; I can wear it and do things without having to constantly take it off. TMI...but for my arthritis peeps, because most of the hand is free, you can even use the bathroom and wash your hands without much maneuvering. I suggest these if your thumb or wrist joints are being problematic jerks! They're a good price, easy to clean, and comfortable (as far as braces go).
