Haven't used this one yet but I have another one by the manufacturer and it works flawless

I use this to turn a line to pull over danger trees. Works great. EXCEPT: this pulley requires constant tension to keep the rope in the groove. If it loses tension even for a moment it will drop loose and the rope will run on the connector instead. Someone will need to reset it and carefully retension.

Very nice machining, nothing overly fancy but it will get the job done. It will not be the weakest link, it will be something else for sure.

Made for 3/8" or smaller rope. V groove narrows to 2/8" at bottom and is only 3/8" deep, causing 1/2 of 5/8" rope to protrude outside of ring. Returning unused. Note, quality of build is excellent, but made for ropes smaller than 5/8".
