Doesn't seal threads well
Tape is very vinyl like and doesn't work well.

This is regular PTFE/teflon tape, and is conveniently wide. It has a normal thickness as well so it's just as tear-resistant, and useful for wrapping my larger items.

don't assume...
I regularly purchase a single roll of "PTFE Thread Sealant Tape, Standard Density, Mil-Spec T27730A, 1" Wide x 1296" Long, Made in USA" teflon tape over the counter at the oilfield supply store here in west TX for $5.02. That's 2.5 times more tape than Amazon for the same price. This review is simply to point out that Amazon doesn't always have the best price.
